我先生是一個個性很急躁的人，對家人很沒耐性，講沒幾句話就想大聲，所以每當先生回到家時，我跟孩子都會趕快避開，孩子也不想親近自己的爸爸，學校的活動也不讓爸爸出席，就怕他在外面對孩子態度不佳，讓孩子在同學面前沒面子。他在職場上的人際溝通也不行，跟老闆同事處不好，還時常得罪客戶，老闆也拿他沒辦法，如果不是我先生的職業專業需求非常高，恐怕老闆早想讓他別幹了！

這樣的狀況持續了非常多年，起初的幾年我還想試著溝通，但一直沒有改善，到了孩子出生之後，情況越烈，在照顧兩個孩子的壓力下，我也得了憂鬱症，在朋友的幫助下，來到菩提後精神壓力才慢慢減輕，人才清爽起來。

先生的暴躁易怒，在小事情上就能顯露。開車時，只要前車速度太慢，他就狂按喇叭跟超車，嘴巴也停不下來的辱駡前車駕駛，好幾次都差點出嚴重車禍，每次他開車出門我都特別憂心。在同修的建議下，我也給先生點燈祈福，希望他能出入平安。

去年藥師佛法會，我也請了一串藍紋瑪瑙手串給我先生，他戴上之後開車也沒這麼急躁了，下班回家後還會想跟我們聊天，假日帶我們全家出去玩，孩子也願意跟先生親近了。真的太神奇了，短短幾個月，先生就有明顯不同，不但不急躁，在跟我們說話時也比從前智慧許多，情緒控管變好了，不隨意罵人了！家庭氣氛也越來越和睦。

流感季節，洗手能有效減少病毒的侵襲。那如何正確洗手呢？記住七個步驟：內、外、夾、弓、大、立、腕。
內：濕潤雙手，塗抹洗手液或肥皂，掌心相對，手指併攏相互揉搓；
外：手心搓洗手背，雙手交換進行；
夾：掌心相對，手指交叉搓洗指縫；
弓：半握拳把指背放在另一手掌心旋轉揉搓；
大：一手握另一手大拇指旋轉揉搓；
立：一手指尖合攏在另一手掌心旋揉搓洗；

傳說有一位射箭大師，他教出來的徒弟，都能將箭射進掛在三十步之外一個銅錢的方孔裡，不輸百步穿楊的水準。所以有很多人來跟他學習。

其中，有一個人特別聰明，每一次學法，他總是繞著彎兒去套師父不外傳的秘法。

這天，師父領著大夥兒到森林練習射箭，一陣風呼然颳起，片片葉子飄落下來，師父突然輪起弓箭，咻，地一聲！眼前飄下的落葉竟被箭整齊地串成一束。聰明的徒弟想著：「哇，這箭根本是神箭啊！我一定要學到這個絕技。」於是就百般思量計策，想套師父說出秘法。師父卻總是笑笑走了，聰明的徒弟百思不得其解，為何師父就是不教他秘法。

同一年，師父把這招絕技，傳給了宅心仁厚的大弟子，雖然他平時反應遲鈍，卻特別實在。這個聰明的師弟又想套師兄的話，大師兄說：「師弟呀，我知道你好學，可是如果師父不教我，以我的聰明才智，再過一百年也悟不出來，即使你那麼聰明，也一樣悟不出來的。」

大師兄又說：「因為，師父傳授給我的不僅僅是秘法，還有一顆恭敬的心！師父常常告訴我說：『咱們修練，不只是修功夫，而是修心啊。』」

A wise phrase is worth more than ten years of intensive training!
According to legend, there was a great archery master whose disciples were great shooters who could shoot through the square hole of a copper coin from 30 steps away. Thus many people came to learn archery from him.
Among them was an extremely smart person. He would try to sneak for opportunities to pick up special secret skills from his master.
This day, the master was out in the forest with everyone to practice archery. A sudden gust of wind caused many leaves to fall from trees. The master suddenly drew his bow, shot his arrow through a bunch of fallen leaves. The smart disciple thought to himself, “Wow, this is like a divine arrow in action. I must master this special skill.” Subsequently he tried many methods to seek this special method from his master. But his master always responded with a smile and walked away. The smart disciple was baffled, not knowing why his master refused to teach him this secret skill.
The very same year, the master imparted this skill to a senior disciple, one who was slow but a down-to-earth person with a good heart.
This time, the smart disciple tried ways to get the senior disciple to disclose the secret skill. The senior disciple said, Dear brother, I know you are a keen learner. But if master does not teach me, given my intelligence and wisdom, I will never be able to get it even for another 100 years. I doubt you will get it even with your intelligence.”
The senior disciple continued, “What Master taught me is not only the special skill but also the importance of a respectful heart!” Master always says – we practice not only for kung fu, but to cultivate our heart.”

「唉，我最近發現玉帝總往人間看，原來是在看姑娘。 」 王母娘娘說
「是啊，不光玉帝，很多神仙也在偷看。 」太白金星答
王母娘娘：「人間姑娘有啥好看的？」
太白金星答：「現在人間的姑娘呀，清一色蕾絲配小高，低胸還露腰，就是不怕寒冷呀。 」

在戊戌年即將來臨之際，特請伐折羅藥叉神將統領護法神來為朋友們護身祈福。此尊為「伐折羅」藥叉大將，梵名 vajra，又作跋折羅、和耆羅等。意譯「金剛」，主領夜叉眾守護佛法，為藥叉神王之上首。此藥叉的本地為大勢至菩薩，是戍時之守護神。通身青色，現忿怒形，頭髮茂盛聳上，頭戴犬冠，手持法器。

據經典記載，佛說《藥師琉璃光如來本願功德經》描述，當時參與藥師法會的十二藥叉大將深受佛法感動，明白了藥師佛十二大願的慈悲大愛，所以立誓發願護持藥師佛。十二藥叉誓願說著：「凡受持藥師琉璃光如來名號恭敬供養者，皆使解脫一切苦難。」所以，十二藥叉神將不僅發願護持藥師的佛法與大願，同時守護了誦持《藥師經》的佛弟子，是供養藥師法門弟子的護法神。

十二藥叉，已具有金剛菩薩的果位，擁有大慈悲心和大無畏精神，功德俱足，威嚴自在。共同護持正法，行藥師佛十二大願，助一切有情眾生在修行時能遠離種種煩惱及世間疾苦，直至圓滿解脫。

此尊藥叉神將蘊含著極強的非凡能量，祈願有緣觀賞者，在2018年能得藥師佛和十二藥叉神的護佑，驅邪化煞，消病滅災，獲平安吉祥！

Auspicious Protector Deity of 2018 “The Twelve Heavenly Generals (Yaksha Generals)” — Joyously welcome good fortune and calm Tai Sui.
With the approach of the Wu Xu year, let us pray for the protection and blessings from the leader of the Twelve Heavenly Generals, known as Vajra in Sanskrit, whose name also has the connotation of “Diamond”, the dharma protector for the Buddha. Also known as Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, he is the protector deity for the Xu period. With a green exterior, an angry countenance and thick shock of hair that stands upwards, Vajra is usually depicted with a crown on his head and a weapon in his hand.
According to the classics, the twelve Yaksha Generals were in attendance at the dharma assembly during which Buddha recounted the Sutra of the Medicine Buddha. They were deeply touched by the Buddhist dharma, and comprehended the compassion and great love behind the Twelve Vows made by Medicine Buddha. As a result, they vowed to stand firm as protectors and guardians of Medicine Buddha. This was what the twelve Yaksha Generals said in their vows: “All devotees who have deep respect for, and made offerings to the Medicine Buddha, shall be liberated from all sufferings.” As a result, not only did the twelve Yaksha Generals vow to guard over the dharma and the great vows of Medicine Buddha, they also vowed to protect Buddhist disciples who chant the sutra of Medicine Buddha. They are hence known to be the protector deities of the disciples of Medicine Buddha.
In actuality, the twelve Yaksha Generals had accumulated sufficient merits and had already attained the states of Bodhisattva-hood – greatly compassionate in hearts and fearless in spirits. Regal in appearance and being deeply at ease, they are the guardians of true dharma. They are firm proponents of the Medicine Buddha’s twelve great vows, and they help to ensure that all sentient beings are freed of all sorts of troubles and worldly suffering during their practice, until the day that they attain enlightenment.
Vajra contains an exceptional amount of extraordinary energy and it is my hope that all those who have the good fortune to view it would be blessed with the protection of Medicine Buddha as well as the twelve Yaksha generals. May evil be dispelled, disasters be neutralized, illnesses be cured and may everyone be safe and auspicious in 2018!

臘二十三糖瓜粘
──上天言好事，下界降吉祥。

民謠中「二十三，糖瓜粘」指的即是每年臘月二十三日，祭拜灶王爺時，供糖瓜的習俗。 灶王爺是玉帝派到人間、掌管百姓飲食、考察一家善惡的神明，每年臘月二十三，要回到天上向玉帝彙報工作。人們為了讓灶王爺在玉帝面前多說好話，就用蜜糖抹在他的嘴上，希望他嘴巴甜甜，「上天言好事，下界降吉祥」，帶給全家平安吉祥。

傳說灶王爺真有其人。從前有一戶張姓兄弟倆，哥哥是泥水匠，弟弟是畫匠，哥哥壘灶台遠近出名，人稱「張灶王」。而且他還有一個習慣——愛管閒事，給人家壘灶台時，聽到家中人吵架，他就兩頭勸和；看到晚輩不孝敬，他也會苦口婆心的講道理。時間長了，不管誰家有矛盾，都找「張灶王」幫著說和，鄉親們也都非常尊敬他。

後來，張灶王壽終正寢了，往生的這一天正是臘月二十三。沒想到，他一去世可亂套了，街坊四鄰吵架沒人管了，以前的和睦景象再也看不到了，連張家的兩個兒媳婦也鬧起彆扭。哥哥去世一周年的夜裡，弟弟偷偷在灶台上方畫了一幅哥哥的畫像，然後把全家人叫醒，說：「玉帝托夢，大哥被封為灶王爺，負責勘察百姓，對好吃懶做、不孝不敬的，就稟告玉帝嚴懲。」然後領大家來到廚房，全家人看到張灶王的畫像如活人一般，兩個兒媳婦嚇得馬上跪下求饒，取來他生前愛吃的甜食供在灶上，懇請灶王爺在玉帝面前說好話，求得寬恕。這件事傳開後，大家都紛紛效仿，畫了張灶王的像，貼在家中，每逢臘月二十三供上甜糖瓜，希望他多說好話，祈求全家和睦平安。

糖瓜代表著甜蜜春節的開始，大家吃了糖瓜，嘴巴有沒有變甜一點呢？俗話說：「良言一句三冬暖，惡語傷人六月寒。」我們在與人交流的時候，如果也能嘴甜甜、說美好的話、吉祥的話、正能量的話，不說負面的、傷害的話、兩舌是非的話，也一定會得到大家的喜愛。
