我是來自舊金山_白蓮禪堂的_容棠
我兒子很優秀，從哈佛醫學院第一名畢業，大學還沒有畢業就在醫院裡做醫生，同時也很順利地結了婚，媳婦很能幹，所以我從不擔心他們，但是他們卻遲遲沒有小孩，我也不敢問。

有一天兒媳突然對著我一直哭，我覺得很奇怪！什麼事情是他們兩位不能解決的呢？我關心的問，才知道是因為醫生檢查出來，我媳婦的卵子太老又很少，加上宮寒的問題，幾乎不太能受孕。
.
說來很好笑，我兒子是全世界200 名以內的名醫生，他接生了無數個嬰兒，幫過很多人生了小孩，雖然夫妻感情非常好，可是就是沒有小孩，他們也嘗試過去買卵子做試管嬰兒，價錢非常高，從1萬美金到5萬美金不等，付出這麼高的價錢，卻還是不保證能成功受孕，他們嘗試了好幾次試管嬰兒，結果不是失敗，就是中途流產，可能是因為子宮太冷了，宮寒不孕。

去年感恩節，醫生告訴他們這是最後一顆卵子，如果這次再不成功，就必需用別人的卵子或別人的子宮了， 這對女性來說也是非常痛苦的一件事，我就勸媳婦：不要再這麼痛苦了，沒有小孩也沒關係。

去年的十二月份，就是將最後一顆卵子放入身體裡，後來我想：「兒子能幹，從不需要我操心，我也不知能為兒子做些什麼，我看我這次就為他們在佛前點個燈吧！
.
他們聖誕節來看我，聖誕節的禮物是，「我送給他們一盞燈」，在從洛杉磯來的前一天，我點了49天的燈，而且是專心點給我的媳婦及她肚子裡那顆卵子的。我本來也是抱著試試看的心情 ，沒想到最後一顆卵子「成功受孕了」！兒媳成功懷孕，今年孫子也順利生出來了，寶寶健康、可愛，相貌非常端莊，還很聰明呢！因此，佛前供燈不可思議,，能化腐朽為神奇，非常的感恩菩提禪修，感恩藥師佛陀，感恩送子觀音，為我和我的兒女找回希望。

Offering light before the Buddha for smooth pregnancy
.
I am Rong Tang from the Bailian Bodhi Meditation Center in Milpitas, U.S.
My son is distinguished; a top graduate from the Harvard Medical College who had started practicing at the hospital even before his graduation. At the same time, his marriage had been plain sailing, and my daughter-in-law is very capable, so I never had to worry about them. Yet, they remained childless, a question that I was hesitant to ask.
.
One day, my daughter-in-law suddenly came crying to me. I was most puzzled! What was it that the couple cannot solve? Concerned, I asked her and realized that the doctor’s report had indicated that my daughter-in-law had eggs that were aged and few. In combination with the poor womb condition, conception was nearly impossible.
.
Ironically, my son has a strong standing within the top-200 eminent doctors in the world. He had helped to deliver countless babies, and enabled many to have children, yet despite the strong relationship, the couple had no children. They had tried to buy donor eggs to conduct in-vitro fertilization (IVF) at a very high price, ranging from USD10,000 – 50,000, but this was without guarantee of success. They tried IVF several times, ending in failure or had to abort mid-way, as the weak uterus was not in the condition to conceive.

During Thanksgiving last year, the doctor advised that it was the last egg. If it was not successful, it would be necessary to use another donor’s eggs or womb – an option that was considered most distressing to my daughter-in-law. I had advised my daughter-in-law, “.. don’t dwell in the sorrow, it does not matter if you have no children.”
.
During that December, as the last egg was incepted, a thought came to mind, “My son has been capable, and never caused me any worry. I do not know what I can do for him. Let me offer a light before the Buddha on their behalf!”
.
Subsequently, they came to visit me during Christmas and my gift was the “light offering” – the day before I traveled from Los Angeles, I had made a light offering of 49 days on behalf of my daughter-in-law and the egg in her womb. I had adopted a “trying” mentality and did not expect the last egg to lead to successful conception! My daughter-in-law had a successful pregnancy, and my grandchild was smoothly delivered this year with good health, lovely character, dignified appearance, and good wits! Therefore, offering light to the Buddha is inconceivable; it can be alchemic. I’m immensely grateful to Bodhi Meditation, the Medicine Buddha, and the Fertility Blessing Guanyin Bodhisattva for fulfilling the wishes of my children.

「臥牛禪師_十」

一位公司總經理愁眉不展的問臥牛禪師：
“我怎樣才能擁有整個公司的資產？”
.
臥牛禪師：“現在的公司不是你的嗎？”
總 經 理：“是我老闆的。”
.
臥牛禪師：“你的待遇如何？”
總 經 理：“還行。年薪三十多萬吧。”
.
臥牛禪師：“據我知道你公司的員工平均年薪是兩萬元。你的老闆已經很好了。你為什麼還想吞下你老闆的公司呢？”
.
總 經 理：“和員工比，我的收入確實很高。但是和老闆比呢，我非常自卑。因此，一年前，我便有了一個夢想：我也要做真正的老闆。可是自己創業太困難了，所以我就想借用，將我們這間公司拿到自己手中。”

臥牛禪師：“你不覺得你缺少點什麼嗎？”
總 經 理：“什麼啊？”

臥牛禪師：“一點良心。真是人心不足蛇吞象啊。”

One company’s general manager asked Zen Master Cow with a frown: “How can I swallow the assets of my company?”
Zen Master Cow: “Isn’t the company yours now?”
General manager: “Nope. It belongs to my boss.”
Zen Master Cow: “How did your boss treat you?”
General manager: “Still acceptable. My annual salary is three hundred thousand.”
Zen Master Cow: “According to my sources, the average remuneration for your company’s staff is two hundred thousand. Your boss already paid you better than average. Why do you still want to swallow your boss’s company?”
General manager: “ Compared to normal staff, my salary is indeed higher. However comparatively to my boss, I am still more inferior. Hence starting from last year, I had a dream: I want to become a boss. But it is very difficult to build up an enterprise from scratch hence I want to use some ploys to swallow this company.”
Zen Master Cow: “ Don’t you think you lack something?”
General manager: “What?”
Zen Master Cow: “Conscience. A man who is never content is like a snake trying to swallow an elephant.”rnrn「臥牛禪師_十」

窮書生衣衫襤褸，面黃肌瘦，餓得暈倒在廟門外。老和尚見了，趕緊讓小和尚弟扶他進廟歇息，同樣吩咐為書生端上最好的齋飯，準備最好的臥房與被褥給窮書生。

小和尚心裡忿忿不平，開始嘰咕起來：「上次那位官人，為廟裡捐獻了許多財物，自然有資格吃最好的齋飯，接受上等的招待；如今一個不知打哪兒來的「叫花子」，沒給廟裡任何貢獻，師父竟如此厚待他？窮書生在廟裡的那段時間，小和尚沒有給他好臉色看，還常常趁著師父不在時，端出已經餿掉的齋飯給書生吃，書生因此常常壞肚子與挨餓。

師父看在眼裡，心裡明白，但並未當面譴責小和尚。

書生告辭後，老和尚就用泥巴塑了一個菩薩像，放在廟堂中，吩咐小和尚必須每天虔誠上香，不可輕慢懈怠。小和尚每天都很認真地給菩薩上香，對著菩薩叩頭，虔誠念經。

一個月後，老和尚又偷偷將菩薩像換成一隻泥猴子。小和尚驚覺菩薩怎地變成一隻猴子了，嚇了一跳，幾天都沒去上香。

老和尚問：「怎不去上香了？」
.
「師父，那菩薩變成一隻猴子了，猴子長相太嚇人，無法為廟裡帶來香客的供養與資金收入，我拜他不是多餘的嗎。」小和尚回答。

老和尚拿過那只猴子，再次雕琢，一尊菩薩又莊嚴地出現了。小和尚愣愣地望著師父，不知道該如何是好。老和尚用棍子在小和尚的頭上敲了一下，繼續念經，不再理會他。

這一棒，小和尚突然領悟過來：「師父，我明白了。其實每個人的生命就像這團泥，本質都是一樣的，只是因為雕刻師將他塑造成了不同的模樣而已，人們卻常常被表像給迷或住了啊！」

爬上天梯的伏羲

傳說，以前有一個名叫華胥國的地方，住在那兒的人快樂又長壽，生活過得簡直和神仙差不多。但是因為日子過得太幸福了，人們都懶洋洋的，不想工作，也不想創造什麼。
.
華旭國裡住著一位與眾不同的年輕小夥子，他叫_伏羲，他覺得這兒的生活太平凡了，他認為沒有創造力的生活實在很無聊。有一天，他砍斷一株梧桐樹，裝上五十根弦線，作出了一種名叫瑟的樂器。這把琴彈奏起來，聲音清脆響亮，似乎能夠穿透天上，極是好聽。
.
這一天，伏羲正在彈琴，遠處突然傳來打雷的聲音。他抬起頭望著天空，心想：「聽說我的父親是住在天上的雷神，我想到天上去看看，並且玩樂一番。聽說在東南方有一棵神樹，它就像一座天梯一樣，高聳直入雲霄，只要爬上去，就可以到達神仙居住的天上呢！」
.
伏羲於是帶著他心愛的樂器離開華胥國，往東南方去尋找天梯。
但是一路上的風景卻越來越荒涼，他發現，原來華胥國以外的人們，都過得非常野蠻，都是弱肉強食血淋淋的畫面。
.
突然，伏羲在一片廣大的草地上，他遇見了一個美麗的女子，孤獨的走來走去，像是很憂傷的樣子。原來，她正是主管都廣野的女神素女。
.
「請問，你知道通往天上的神木在哪裡嗎？」伏羲問。
素女問他：「你為什麼不好好的留在地上，偏要尋找天梯神樹呢？」
伏羲說：「因為天上有美麗的宮殿、鮮花。還有，我的父親雷神也住在那兒呢。」
.
「好吧，我告訴你神樹在哪裡，可是你要知道，當你爬上神樹後，可決不能回頭往下望喔！」伏羲順著素女手指的方向，在廣野的中央，果然看見一棵巨大無比的大樹，像一道筆直煙柱似的，直衝向天空！伏羲將背上的樂器，送給素女。之後就開始沿著天梯建木往上爬。
.
這是一棵古怪的樹，樹幹滑溜溜的。他爬著爬著，突然聽到「丁丁咚咚」幾聲調弦的聲音，素女正為伏羲演奏著幾首送別的曲子。
當伏羲即將攀上最高峰，抵達天上的時候，素女演奏的音樂突然穿雲破空而來，那聲音絕望又悲哀，就好像剛剛一路上，那些弱肉強食動物們的哭嚎聲一樣，伏羲聽了心頭一震，忘記素女的警告，忍不住低頭望了一眼。

這一望可糟了，他只覺得天旋地轉，手腳抱不住光滑的樹皮，頭下腳上的直摔了下去。還好他摔進了厚厚的草叢裡，才保住了一條小命。伏羲很生氣：「素女為什麼要奏這麼悲哀的樂曲，故意讓我分神呢？我一定要找她問個明白！」
.
伏羲因為找不到素女，望著黑沉沉的黑水，心裡很是苦惱。這時候，忽然海浪像花瓣一樣分開了，中間還冒出了一個像龍又像馬，背上有八角圖案的神獸。野獸向伏羲開口說話了。
.
牠說：「我知道你正在找素女，但是她已經走了。她讓我告訴你：「人世間苦難的人這麼多，他們沒有知識，沒有學識，正需要有智慧的人引領與幫助，你怎麼忍心一個人爬到天上享福呢？其實，你會從天上摔下來，並不是因為素女的音樂太悲傷，而是因為，你的心中還存著對人間的同情和不忍，你真正的心願，是去幫助那些苦難的人們啊！」

伏羲聽完神獸的話，若有所悟的想：「我有的是聰明和智慧，正可以用來幫助人們改善生活啊！」

於是，伏羲不再一心想著爬上天梯了。他走回自己的家鄉，帶領人民建立王國、創製曆法，他同時教民馴養野獸，這就是家畜的由來；教會人們利用石器製造生活所需的器具，並教會人們利用石頭鑽木取火，建立熟食的飲食習慣，人們從此再也不會因為不淨的殘忍生食法，而引發疾病，或被野獸傷害了。

更重要的，是他受到龍馬的啟示，由龍馬背上的長短斑紋，發明了八卦。人們因此懂得自然界的基本知識和秩序，東方蠻荒的土地，最後終於成了一塊幸福的王國。

He who climbed the stairs to Heaven – Fuxi
.
According to legend, there used to be a place called Hua Xu Guo, where the people were happy and lived long lives. It was like heaven on earth. However, due to the lack of hardship, the people there were lazy – they did not have the motivation to work or to create things.
.
However, there was a young lad named Fuxi who was different from all the others. He felt that the life in Hua Xu Guo was too mundane and he found the lack of creativity boring. Once, he chopped down a Phoenix tree and made a musical instrument by attaching fifty strings to it. This musical instrument was called a Se (an ancient Chinese plucked zither). The sound of the Se was crisp, clear, and so heavenly that it seemed to soar through the clouds into the sky.

One day, as Fuxi was playing the Se as usual, he heard the sound of thunder in the distance. He looked up at the sky and thought to himself: “My father is supposedly the Thunder God who lives in heaven. How I wish that I can go up there to take a look. I’ve heard that there is a magic tree south-east from here. Supposedly it rises up into the clouds, like a staircase to heaven. As long as I climb along the magic tree, I should be able to go up into heaven!”
.
With that thought, Fuxi took his beloved Se and left Hua Xu Guo in search of the staircase to heaven. Along the way, he encountered chilling scenes. He quickly learned that people outside of Hua Xu Guo lived very barbaric lives. He witnessed many brutal scenes of the strong preying on and devouring the weak.

Suddenly, Fuxi emerged into a wide, open grassland, where he saw a beautiful lady pacing sorrowfully. He found out that she was the Goddess in charge of all the wildernesses, Sunu.
.
“Excuse me, do you know where I can find the magic tree that goes up into heaven?” Fuxi sked.
.
“Why don’t you remain on the ground? Why do you want to search for the magic tree to heaven?”
Fuxi replied: “Because there are beautiful palaces and flowers up in heaven. And my father, the Thunder God, lives there.”
“Alright, I can tell you where the magic tree is. But you have to remember this: As you climb up the tree, you must never look downwards!”
.
Fuxi looked in the direction pointed by the goddess. Right in the center of the grass plains, he saw a gigantic tree rising up into the sky like a column of smoke! He took down the Se which he had been carrying all this while, and gave it to the goddess as a gift. Then he started his climb up the huge trunk.
.
As he climbed, he heard the sound of someone tuning the strings on the Se. The goddess was playing a farewell melody for Fuxi.
.
As he climbed to the top of the tree, he was not far away from the heaven. Suddenly the song played by the goddess floated into his ears. The melody was hauntingly hopeless and sad, reminding him of the wails of the animals which he witnessed being devoured earlier. The haunting melody tugged at Fuxi’s heart. Forgetting the warning from the goddess, he glanced downwards.

Immediately his hand slipped off the smooth trunk and he fell, head-first. Fortunately for him, he was saved by a thick carpet of grass which cushioned his fall. Fuxi was furious: “Why did the goddess play such a haunting melody to distract me? I must talk to her!”
.
However, the goddess was nowhere to be found. Disappointed, Fuxi stared moodily into the dark waters. Without warning, the water parted, and a mythical creature that resembled a dragon and a horse at the same time emerged. There was a picture of an octagon on the back of the creature. The creature spoke: “I know that you are looking for the goddess. You won’t find her, as she has already left. She asked me to pass you a message – There are so many people who are suffering in this world. They are uneducated and uninformed. They need a wise person to lead them, to help them. How can you bear to desert them and enjoy life on your own in heaven? You did not fall because of the goddess’ sad music. You fell because you still have empathy and sympathy for the people who are suffering. Your wish is to help these people!”

After hearing the words of the creature, Fuxi had a realization: “I am smart. I can use my wisdom to help improve the lives of these people!”
.
From then on, Fuxi stopped thinking about climbing up the staircase to heaven. He returned to his hometown, where he led his countrymen to build up an empire. He also led in the creation of the calendar system, and taught his people to tame wild animals. That was the start of animal domestication. He also taught his people to create stone tools, to start fire through drilling of wood, and to start the habit of cooking food before consumption. This greatly reduced the occurrences of diseases as a result of eating unclean raw food, and also reduced the incidence of people getting hurt by wild animals.

Most importantly, he was inspired by the prints on the mythical creature and invented the eight trigrams commonly known as Bagua. This increased mankind’s general knowledge about the world of nature and introduced order into the society. This was how a barbaric place in the east was eventually transformed into a happy kingdom.

?雪白季節裡的溫暖__大耳婆婆?

傳說，擁有一頭漂亮金髮的老婆婆，有兩只非常可愛而美麗的大耳朵，它是用來聆聽孩子們的願望。他的工作是，為全世界的孩子們圓滿願望，並且送去禮物，他的願望是：「看見全世界的孩子們，燦爛、天真的笑容，並且幸福的沈睡夢鄉。」
.
而大小孩子們都喜愛的「聖誕老人」願望是怎麼來的呢？
在數千年前的_斯堪納維亞島中，一個風雪交加的聖誕夜裡，有一對饑寒交迫的小男孩，因為大雪覆蓋天地好幾個月了，家家戶戶緊鎖門戶，糧食更顯得珍貴，他一路走一路敲門，卻不見善心的人家願意給他一口飯吃，當他覺得自己將要被凍死的時候，突然面前出現了一個大耳婆婆，接待他吃了一頓豐盛的聖誕晚餐，還貼心的為小男孩準備溫暖的寢具，隔日大雪竟奇蹟似的停了。

臨走前，大耳婆婆特別折了一根杉樹枝送給他，並叮囑說：「你找個肥沃的土地將它種下吧，並且細心地呵護它，他將會長成一顆非常美麗的小樹，年年此日，將會禮物滿枝，但是你必須繼續完成我的願望，為所有跟你一樣，需要幫助的孩子們送去溫暖，為他們圓滿願望。」
.
原來那位大耳婆婆，是千手千眼_觀世音菩薩的化身，而那個小男孩，就是現在的聖誕老公公。
.
後來許多受到大耳婆婆幫助的孩子們長大了，他們也都立志要成為聖誕老人的化身，聖誕節的溫暖氛圍從此流傳下來，千古不衰，甚至化身成千千萬萬的聖誕老人！
.
因此，每年的12月，聖誕老人都會灑下漫天的雪花與祝福 ，並且送出禮物 ?給孩子們，從此許多孩子們再也不受飢凍所苦了。
因為，這就是佛的願望。。。

Warmth in snowy white season- Big ear granny

According to legend, there was a granny with beautiful golden hair. She had a pair of attractive big ears to listen to the wishes of children from all over the world.
.
Her job was to fulfil the dreams and wishes of children by sending them presents. Her wish: (to see radiant and happy smiles on the innocent faces of all children and ensure they go to bed with pleasant dreams.)
.
How does the wish of Santa Claus (children’s all-time favourite character) come about?
.
Few thousand years ago at an island of Scandinavia, on a snowy and windy Christmas night , there was a little boy who was feeling very hungry and cold. Due to a few months of heavy snow, every household locked their houses and windows tightly to keep out the cold and food was precious and rare. As the boy walked on the street, he knocked on each door, hoping that some kind soul would offer him warm food. However, no one offered him and he continued to remain hungry. Just when he was about to freeze to death, a granny with big ears appeared in front of him. The granny offered him a sumptuous Christmas dinner and thoughtfully prepared a warm mattress and blanket for the night. On the very next day, the snow miraculously stopped.

Before the boy left, big ear granny gave him a redwood branch and instructed him: “Find a fertile land to grow this redwood branch. Look after it well and it will grow into a beautiful tree. On this day of every year, the tree will be filled with presents. However, I have one condition: you must help to fulfil my dream by giving out warmth and hope to children like yourself and others who needed help, make their wishes come true.”
.
Apparently the big ear granny was the incarnation of Thousand Hands Thousand Eyes Guanyin Bodhisattva and the little boy was Santa Claus.
.
Subsequently, children who received help from big ear granny grew up and aspired to be incarnation of Santa Claus. From then on, this heart-warming tradition of Christmas passed down over generations and manifest in the form of thousands and millions of Santa Claus!
.
Since then, on the December of every year, Santa Claus would sprinkle glittering brilliance and wishes to fill the entire sky and send out presents to children. Thanks to Santa Claus, children no longer suffer from hunger and bitter cold. All this is possible because it is the wish of Buddha….
.
Lastly, may all receive bountiful returns on Christmas and lead a happy and fulfilling life!

【菩提養生素食教室】──營養美味的「整顆番茄飯」

在歐美地區，番茄是一種時常出現在家中餐桌上的食材，也廣受人們喜愛。番茄當中含有茄紅素、胡蘿蔔素、維生素C、葡萄糖、果糖、檸檬酸、果酸等多種營養成分，不但能抗癌，還能養顏美容。近年來，由於健康意識的提高，低熱量、富含營養的番茄也成為備受亞洲人喜愛的食物，今天想跟各位介紹一道簡單又好吃的番茄料理；以整顆番茄煮的番茄飯。

材料：
成熟牛番茄1顆、白米2杯、食鹽3/4茶匙、黑胡椒1/4茶匙、橄欖油1/4茶匙
.
做法：
1.洗米，番茄洗淨並去蒂，用刀在番茄底部畫一個十字。
2.將洗好的米放入電鍋中，因番茄富含水分，在蒸煮過程中會出水，因此在內鍋中加入比平時煮飯時水量少一些的水即可。
3.於內鍋中放入黑胡椒、食鹽、橄欖油拌勻，將番茄放在正中間，蓋上鍋蓋，開始煮飯。
4.煮好之後，打開鍋蓋可以看到番茄皮肉分離，並且有些塌陷，去皮後用筷子把番茄弄散拌勻，美味的番茄飯就完成了。

(Bodhi Healthy Vegetarian Classroom)— Nutritious delicious (tomato rice)
In Europe and America, tomato is a common ingredient used in meal preparation as it is popular among Europeans and Americans. Tomatoes are rich in Lycopene, Carotene, vitamin C, glucose, fructose, citric acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid and other nutritious minerals.
Tomato has anticancer properties and helps to maintain youthfulness. In recent years, as people get more health conscious, low calorie and nutritious tomatoes have become more popular among Asians. Today I want to recommend a simple and delicious tomato cuisine- tomato rice.
Ingredients:
1 ripe beef tomato, 2 cups of white rice, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil
Preparation method:
1. Wash rice and tomato, remove the stalk of the tomato, use a knife to engrave a cross at the bottom of the tomato.
2. Add the cleaned rice into a rice cooker. As tomato is rich in water and will give out water during cooking, the amount of water added should be less than the normal quantity during normal rice cooking.
3. Add black pepper, salt, olive oil into the cooker and mix well. Place the tomato in the center. Cover the cooker and start to cook the rice with tomato.
4. When the tomato rice is cooked, we will see bits of tomato’s flesh and skin separated with some parts of tomato sunk in when we open the cooker. After removing the tomato’s skin, use chopsticks to break up the tomato and blend well. The delicious tomato rice is ready to be served.

有這樣一個故事：
上古時期，有一位叫「舜」的帝王，在他做帝王以前，便以仁德、善良和能力著稱。當時的帝王「堯」為了考驗他，將他一個人放入森林中，要他半年內走出來。那個時候，森林遼闊，猛獸繁多，別說他一個人，就是一隊人馬都不一定能夠走出森林，何況「舜」手無寸鐵、身無餘糧。
.
結果，不出三個月「舜」就返回來了，一問之下才明白，竟是森林之王_獅子把他給馱回來的、還跟回了一群鹿馬牛羊。可見「舜」的大仁大愛，能與自然、與天地萬物相通；善的磁場吸引無數的生命聚集。種種的奇跡，使得「堯」對「舜」非常地滿意，就將自己的兩個女兒許配給「舜」為妻，並將王位傳給了「舜」。

「最大的風水是人心，最好的風水是慈悲！」
.
所以，如果你的心地善良，你居住的環境縱然是非常惡劣，幾年之後，這個地方也會變成風水寶地的，為什麼呢？因為你的善心把那個風水轉過來了。

還有，現在很多人都喜歡請風水師，來幫忙改運、改風水，其實一般的風水調整，並不能使人們的運氣、命運得到根本上的改變；只有行善、慈悲的能量與功德，才能使一個人獲得吉祥。

The essence of good fengshui lies within one’s heart

There is such a story:
During ancient times, there was an emperor named Shun. Before he became an emperor, he was known for his virtue, kindness and capability. To test his capability, the emperor then, Yao, ordered Shun to make his way independently out of a jungle within half a year.
.
At that time, jungles were known to be dangerous since they were filled with ferocious animals. Not to mention that Shun had the arduous task to make his way out of the jungle alone. Even an entire team of people may not be able to make their way out of the jungle alive. Moreover, Shun had no weapon to fend for himself. Neither did he have any food with him.
.
Unexpectedly, Shun managed to make his way out of the jungle unscathed within three months. In fact, he was escorted by a lion, the king of the forest and came out together with a group of deers, horses, goats and cows. Shun’s universal love managed to communicate with nature and the Universe.
.
His aura of kindness attracted and brought countless beings together. Yao was satisfied with Shun’s miraculous achievements and decided to marry two of his daughters to Shun and made him his successor.
.
(The greatest fengshui lies within one’s heart, in the form of compassion!)
.
Therefore if you are kind-hearted, your kindness can transform even the most difficult situation into a geomantic treasured site within a few years.
.
Nowadays a lot of people like to engage fengshui master to transform life destiny through fengshui enhancements. In reality, enhancements to fengshui cannot change life’s fundamentals by way of better luck and life destiny. A person can become more auspicious only through accumulating karmic merits by performing charitable deeds and exuding compassionate energy.

Today, let us discuss in (Guide to Meditation)- Part 2 how we can learn to be more compassionate and kind in our daily lives through meditation so as to change our fengshui and welcome better life destiny.
