如果醫生沒有要求你一動也不動,我建議你盡量走一走「八卦」。單單在溫哥華菩提禪堂,我就親自接待超過10位有著嚴重腿痛的人,他們都因為堅持走「八卦」而減輕了腿痛,乃至恢復健康。

我們都知道,物品長期不使用就會腐朽的道理,如果腿痛就不走路了,時間長了之後,腿會變得怎麼樣呢?很可能整個下肢慢慢地就不能動了,生命就開始進入痛苦的狀態。
.
有的人腳底長了很多雞眼,像馬蜂窩似的,走路特別痛;還有很多有各種腰痛、腿痛、膝蓋痛的同修,諮詢關於走「八卦」的問題。我的觀點是,能走就盡量走。
.
在全球各個菩提禪堂走「八卦」的人當中,有很多是膝關節有問題的,甚至有拄著柺杖的、坐輪椅的,他們都是一步一步艱難地走,最初借助外力的支持,比如拄著柺杖、扶著凳子、扶著助行器等等,走一段時間之後,慢慢地可以放開輔具自己行走了,到最後沒有不適的感覺,好多年都不再腿痛了。

人要動起來,生命才會越來越健康。走「八卦」之前,要做好準備,因為當你的腿、膝關節等部位本身就存在問題,走「八卦」的期間,可能會感到麻木、不自在,甚至還可能更痛。但堅持下去,也許痛苦就會減輕或消失,希望一兩年之後,你能夠行走自如。

最有彈性的復健──八卦內功

問:「幾年前我出過一場嚴重車禍,我的腿骨斷成三截,後來經過努力復健,現在雖然走路已沒什麼問題,可是只要一變天,我的腿又痠又痛,連下床都很困難,每走一步,就像是好幾根釘子,釘在我的腿骨上一樣疼得不得了,何況是走八卦呢?
.
我說:「走『八卦』除了要持之以恆外,最重要的必須注意,不管你一次能走多久,5分鐘也好、10分鐘也罷,如果覺得不舒服,就停下來歇一歇,等好一點了之後再繼續走。」
.
他又問:「這樣停停走走的,效果不會打折?」
.
我說:「任何事情過與不及都是不好的,不管做什麼事情都要量力而為,走八卦當然也是。你要依照自己的身體狀況來調整走八卦的時間,所以,多停下來幾次是沒有關係的,但是動作要盡量做到確實,效果才會好。」
.
後來,他照著我說的話去做,覺得累了就停下來休息,好一點之後再繼續走,就這樣堅持了下來。從一開始只能走幾分鐘,每天慢慢進步,不過一年多的時間,他就已經可以連續走上兩個小時,而且,無論天氣再怎麼變化,他那條受過重傷的腿都沒有再疼過。
.
所以,有好的功法,還要用對方法。我所傳授的「八卦內功」是一套很好的功法,它可以為人們帶來健康的體魄,但最重要的是,要讓所有人都能在最輕鬆、最自在的狀況下獲得健康、獲得快樂與幸福,這才是我推廣八卦內功的目的。

A most flexible form of rehabilitation ─ ─ Energy Bagua

Someone asked : “I had a serious accident a few years ago and broke my leg in 3 areas. After a long period of rehabilitation, I have no problem walking. However, when the weather changes, my leg is so sore and painful even to get out of bed. Every step felt like drilling several nails into my leg. The pain is so unbearable, let alone practice Energy Bagua?

I said: “When you practice Energy Bagua, apart from perseverance, please take note of the following. Should there be intense discomfort or pain after 5 to 10 minutes of Energy Bagua, stop for a rest and continue when you feel better. ”
.
He asked again: “if I stop and continue and stop and continue, would there be any benefit?
I said: “No matter what you do, it is not good to go beyond your limits. You have to adjust according to your own physical conditions while practicing Energy Bagua , so it doesn’t matter how many times you stop, the most important thing to having good results is to align your moves and positions as accurately as possible. ”

【我的健康建議】

第二點,早上、上午的時間修比較好。按照能量和宇宙空間學說,當我們看到太陽升起的時候,這個能量是向上升的,對我們的健康是有幫助的。因此,下午練功不如上午好,但是不論你什麼時候走,都還是會有效果的。。

Short cut to Good Health?
Specially for those of you who crave for good health but have not been able to find the way~

There is a method which is easy to learn and allows the body to quickly replenish vital energy and improve its immunity. Judging from the effects of practicing Energy Bagua, it is apparent that Energy Bagua is beneficial for our health.

Energy Bagua is one of the easiest exercises to learn, and it can be practiced indoors or outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. It is also suitable for people of all ages. If you would like to improve your strength and overall health, or if you would like to get pregnant, you ought to give it a try. Energy Bagua lets you attain good health in a easy and relaxed manner.

【My Suggestions for Good Health】
First of all, for those who need to recover from sicknesses, you ought to practice at least one to two hours of Energy Bagua daily, for 108 days continuously. It is best to practice at the same time every day. For instance, you can choose to practice at 5am, 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am or 10am every morning.
Secondly, morning is the best time to practice. According to energy and cosmology, as we view the sun rising, we are exposed to rising levels of energy, which is beneficial to our health. In comparison, practicing in the afternoon does not yield as much benefit as practicing in the morning.

我們正常行走的人,無法體會坐在輪椅上度日子的滋味。她__5年來只能靠輪椅代步。可喜的是,她的生命發生了奇蹟,短短3個禮拜,她不再需要輪椅了,恭喜她能找回健康,快樂,她是怎樣做到的?讓我們來看看她的故事吧。

2012年5月,我突然間無法行走,經醫生檢查後被診斷出有2節腰椎軟骨壞死,壓迫了坐骨神經線,導致我的雙腿無力,不能站立,更沒法步行,需要以輪椅代步! 有時腰痛起來就連打針也不能緩解疼痛,上下床都沒辦法。
.
接下來的兩年,西醫、物理治療、針灸、骨科,全都試過了,可是都沒辦法把我治好。西醫建議動手術,但是風險很大,殘廢或死亡率高達50%。和家人商量後,我決定不接受手術。多年的儲蓄快用完了也沒法根治,我失去了信心,2014年開始,我放棄了所有的治療。

我原本是一位好動的人,但是由於疾病的原因,我去哪裡都得依靠輪椅、都要人攙扶,我不再喜歡外出。我開始討厭自己,覺得自己連累了家人,覺得自己很醜,脾氣也變得很暴躁。
.
一天我在網上無意間看到了菩提禪修的網頁,讀到了很多不同的見證分享,深受觸動,就報名參加了今年3月28日交來禪堂舉辦的「清明祭祖」點燈念佛祈福活動。
.
念佛祈福活動第1天,我坐著輪椅來到禪堂,得到禪堂義工們熱心的協助,推著我上上下下,而且接下來的整個星期的活動都陪伴著我,讓我感覺很溫馨。師兄姐們一直不斷地鼓勵我別放棄,他們無私地將自己的經歷與見證分享給我,這讓我生起很大的信心與勇氣。義工們還鼓勵我,扶著我,讓我嘗試離開輪椅,一步一步慢慢走起來。

清明祭祖活動後,我每天早上9:30 到中午12:30 ,到禪堂修練「無量大光明修持法」和念佛。到了第2個星期,我感覺雙腿比以前有力了,我可以自己扶著輪椅慢慢走到禪堂了!
.
更令我意想不到的奇跡出現了,第3星期,我終於可以徹底擺脫了坐輪椅的日子!我終於可以自由行動了!每天來禪堂共修都是我自己走到禪堂,還走得很穩!
.
短短3週,我恢復了行走能力,擺脫了5年的輪椅生活,真的非常開心!我做夢也想不到,我龍碧雲的雙腿,竟然可以康復! 感謝這5年來家人的照顧及關心!感謝交來禪堂所有的義工們像家人一樣的關懷和鼓勵!感恩金菩提宗師!

Luckily there was a miracle, and within a short span of 3 weeks, she overcame her immobility and no longer relied upon the wheelchair. What is this amazing and true story about? Let us hear her story..

Testimonial from Malaysia

In May 2012, I suddenly could not walk. The doctor’s examination revealed that I was stricken with lumbar cartilage necrosis in 2 vertebrae, and compression of the sciatic nerves. This resulted in weakness in both legs. I could not stand, much less walk, and had to rely on the wheelchair to move about! At times when the backache acted up, even injections were useless in relieving the pain, and I could not shift from my bed.

Over the next two years, western medicine, physiotherapy, acupuncture, and orthopedics; I tried them all, but none was of use to my condition. Surgery was recommended by western doctors, but the risk was high, with disability or death as high as 50%. Having discussed with my family, I decided not to undergo surgery. Despite exhausting my lifetime savings, cure was not in sight, and my confidence eroded. Since 2014, I’d abandoned all treatments.

I used to be active, but due to the illness I had to rely on the wheelchair, and on the all-round support to move around. I lost interest in going out. I began to dislike myself, as I felt that I was a burden to the family. I felt I was repulsive, and became short-tempered. One day, I came across the website by Bodhi Meditation on the internet. I read various testimonials and was inspired. Thus, I registered for the Qing Ming Festival Chanting and Light Offering event at Cheras Bodhi Meditation Center that was held around March 28th this year.

On the first day of the chanting class, I arrived at the center in my wheelchair. I was blessed with the warm assistance by the volunteers, who helped me in and out of the wheelchair. They also accompanied me in all activities throughout the week. It was a warm feeling. My fellow brothers and sisters constantly encouraged me to persevere and not give up, selflessly shared their experiences and testimonials, allowing me to build my courage and confidence. These volunteers also urged me to attempt to stop using the wheelchair; supporting me in my bids to take slow steps, one at a time.

After the Qing Ming Festival worship activities, I would proceed daily to the Bodhi Meditation Center between 9.30am to 12.30pm in the afternoon for the Meditation of Greater Illumination as well as for chanting. By the second week, I felt my legs were stronger than before, and I could walk slowly to the meditation centre with the support of my wheelchair! What was more miraculous was, by the third week, I could finally and completely leave the wheelchair days behind! Since then, I have walked to the meditation centre by myself, and with steady strides!

I’m finally able to move about by myself! In a short span of 3 weeks, I regained the ability to walk, and can finally leave the days with the wheelchair of 5 years behind. I was elated! It was beyond my wildest dreams that me, Long Biyun could have my legs recovered! I’m also thankful for the utmost care and concern of my family over the past 5 years! Special thanks to all volunteers at the Cheras Bodhi Meditation Center for the familial care and encouragements! Most grateful to Master Jin Bodhi!

I’m finally able to move about by myself! In a short span of 3 weeks, I regained the ability to walk, and can finally leave the days with the wheelchair of 5 years behind. I was elated! It was beyond my wildest dreams that me, Long Biyun could have my legs recovered! I’m also thankful for the utmost care and concern of my family over the past 5 years! Special thanks to all volunteers at the Cheras Bodhi Meditation Center for the familial care and encouragements! Most grateful to Master Jin Bodhi!

May those who are afflicted with illness and pain find solace in Bodhi Meditation and swiftly regain health and happiness.

「八卦」治好了我的風濕性關節炎

大家好,我來自多倫多禪堂,我叫琨潔,四十多歲。
2013年,我在健身班上學習了八卦內功,通過練習八卦內功,身體上的各種小毛病都慢慢地消失了,身體狀況越來越好。
.
2014年,趕上我姨媽剛做了兩條腿的半月板手術,手術後身體狀態很差,雙腿不能站立超過五分鐘,幾乎不能走路。我知道八卦內功有助於恢復身體的元氣,就商量著她和我一起走。一開始她每次硬撐著走10分鐘就要休息,時間慢慢延長,走到十幾天後,她感覺自己的腿慢慢的有力了,沒多久就可以和我們一起走一個小時了。

姨媽的快速康復讓我深受鼓舞,從那以後我就開始認真走八卦,並和孩子一起報名,參加七天的八卦班。在禪堂集中修練,開始的前三天感覺到大腿的肌肉很酸痛,到第四天、第五天,感覺整個腿骨疼痛和發熱,很痛又很舒服,很難描述。

因為我小時候得過風濕性關節炎,我想有可能是在排病氣吧。第六天走的時候,突然感覺到腿上,有一股熱的氣流衝破腿關節上的一個障礙,腿瞬間變輕鬆了,腿部力量即刻恢復了。簡直太神奇了。

感恩師父傳授給我們「八卦內功」。我不僅對自己的健康有信心了,還開始在禪堂、在戶外帶領同修們一起走八卦,讓更多的有緣人都能從練習「八卦內功」中獲益。

Practicing Energy Bagua has relieved me of my Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hi, I’m Kunjie from Bodhi Meditation Center in Toronto, Canada. I’m in my forties.
In 2013, I attended the 8 5-day Health and Happiness Retreat and learnt Energy Bagua. With regular practice, I was relieved of many minor illnesses in my body and felt much healthier.

In 2014, my aunt had a meniscal surgery on both her knees. After the surgery, she was ill and was unable to stand for more than 5 minutes or walk. As I already learnt how Energy Bagua can restore one’s inner energy, I managed to convince her to try Energy Bagua with me. At the start, she had to rest after struggling with Energy Bagua for barely 10 minutes After more than 10 days of practice, her legs got stronger until she could walk with us for an hour.

I was very encouraged by the improvement in my aunt’s knees and her ability to walk through practicing Bagua. From then on, I took Energy Bagua seriously and even signed my son up on a 7-day class. During the first 3 days of the Energy Bagua course, most of us would feel the aches in our upper limbs and muscles. On the 4th and 5th day, these aches will spread to the bones and one could even feel some warmth in the bones. It was painful yet pleasant to experience; something difficult to describe and could only be felt through experience.

I had rheumatoid arthritis since young and I believe that practicing the Bagua flushed out the illness within me. By the 6th day of my Bagua practice, I felt warm energy surged through my legs and cleared the blockages in my limbs. I was pleasantly surprised that my legs gained strength and felt very relaxed.

I cannot thank Grandmaster JinBodhi enough for teaching me the Energy Bagua. Since then, I’ve gained confidence to improve my health. I’ve even initiated sharing on the wonderful effects of Energy Bagua in Bodhi Meditation class with new friends with the hope that more people can benefit from Bagua practice.
