風水師不敢說的秘密

我給大家講一個真實的故事。
.
一個富豪買了塊地，建了獨棟別墅，寬廣的院子裡還種了許多棵百年的荔枝樹。他的朋友就勸他找個有名的風水先生看看。原本不怎麼信風水的富豪也接受了朋友的好意，專程去請個很有名氣的風水大師來看房子。
.
富豪在火車站接到大師後就直奔別墅而去，一路上，只要後頭有車要超車，這富豪都會避讓。大師笑道：「開車挺穩當呢！」富豪和氣地回：「會超車的多半有急事，我們可不好再耽誤他們。」
.
車子開進鎮上後，街道更加狹窄，富豪也放慢了車速。突然，前面有一名小孩嬉笑著從巷子裡衝了出來，富豪的腳穩穩地踩住刹車，小孩笑嘻嘻地跑過去以後，他並沒有立刻踩著油門前行，而是繼續停在原地，不多久，又有一名小孩衝了出來，追趕著先前那名小孩而去。

大師驚訝地問：「你怎麼知道後頭還有小孩？」
富豪說：「小孩子都是追追打打的，光他一個人可不會笑得如此開心。」
大師聽後也豎起了大拇指：「您真有心哪！」

到了自家的別墅，豪富下車後拿著鑰匙準備開門時，後院突然飛起了幾隻鳥，還聽見了一陣笑鬧聲，見狀，富豪便停在了門口、表情歉然地向大師說：「麻煩大師在此稍待一會兒。」

大師：「有什麼事嗎？」
富豪：「現在我家後院肯定有小孩在偷摘我們院內荔枝樹上的荔枝，我們現在若開門進去，小孩們自然會驚慌逃跑，萬一掉下來出事就不好了，先讓他們摘一會兒。」

大師靜默片刻後，回了：「你送我回火車站吧，這房子的風水不用看了！」

這次輪到富豪訝然了：「大師何出此言？」
「先生，有您在的地方，都是風水吉地。」

其實，一般的風水方法並不能使人們的運氣、命運得到根本上的改變。聽我這麼說，你一定會想問我怎樣才能改變我們的這個運氣或者是命運呢？那應該就是慈悲的能量與功德，才能使一個人有好運氣。因為，慈悲的能量可以化解一切災難、改變命運、迎來吉祥，所以我們要多多行善。

Let me tell you a true story.

A wealthy man bought a piece of land and built a detached family villa. His large courtyard was also planted with many hundred-year-old lychee trees. His friend persuaded him to engage the services of a famous geomancer. Originally not receptive to geomancy, the wealthy man nonetheless appreciated his friend’s kind intention and paid a special visit to invite a very famous Fengshui master to read the feng shui his house.

After receiving the master, they both went straight to the villa. On the way, the wealthy man would always give way to an overtaking car. The master smiled, “Your driving is most steady!” The wealthy man replied cordially, “.. well, let’s not delay these overtaking drivers, as they could be experiencing emergencies.”

When the car entered the town, the streets were narrower and the wealthy man had to slow down. Suddenly, a child who was laughing dashed out of the alley in front of them. The wealthy man pressed firmly on the brakes. The child smiled and ran past. Thereafter, the driver paused slightly instead of stepping on the gas. Soon, another child sprang out in pursuit of the earlier one.
The master was surprised, and asked, “How did you know that there were children behind?” 」
The wealthy man replied, “Children are typically chasing and playing, otherwise they would not be laughing so happily.”
After hearing this, the master agreed with a thumb-up, elaborating, “You really have a kind heart!”

Upon arriving at the villa, the wealthy man alighted with the key, ready to open the door. From the backyard, a few birds suddenly flew up, accompanied by a burst of laughter. The wealthy man saw the situation, and decided to stop at the gate. Apologetic, he turned to the master, and said, “..(may) the master stay here and wait for a while.”
Master asked, “What’s the matter?”
The wealthy man responded, “Now, there must be kids at my backyard stealing lychees from our orchard. If we open the gate now, the children will panic in a bid to escape, and it will not be good if they fall, so let them have a moment to pick the fruits.”
After some silence, the master said, “You can just send me back to the railway station. There’s no need to read the Fengshui of this house!”
The wealthy man was taken aback. He asked, “Why is that so, master?”
“Sir, wherever you are, the place will enjoy auspicious Fengshui energy” was the reply.

In reality, the general geomancy approach does not allow people’s luck or destiny to be fundamentally changed. Upon hearing this, you must be curious to understand how then can we change our luck or destiny. That should be premised on the energy and merit of compassion in order for a person to enjoy good luck. This is because the energy of compassion can resolve all calamities, change the destiny and usher in good fortune; hence we must perform more good deeds.

【十塊錢】

美國曾經有這麼一個不錯的故事…
有一批被沒收的腳踏車，在公告後決定拍賣。 。。

拍賣會中，有一個十來歲的小男孩，他總是以「十塊錢」開始喊價，然後眼睜睜地看著腳踏車被別人用二十、三十、 四十元買走。
.
拍賣會中場休息，拍賣員問小男孩：「你為什麼老出10元就停止？」
男孩說：「因為我存了很久的零用錢，還是只湊到這十塊錢。」
.
拍賣會又開始了，小男孩還是給每輛腳踏車相同的價錢，然後被別人用較高的價錢買走，慢慢地聚集的群眾，開始注意到那個總是出十元的小男孩！
.
拍賣會漸漸進入尾聲了，這時，只剩一輛最棒的腳踏車，車身光亮如新，有多種排檔、雙向手煞車、變速顯示器和一套夜間電動燈光裝置。此時拍賣員例行的問：「有誰出價呢？」這時，站在最前面，總是開價十塊錢的小男孩，同樣抱著期望的心開價：「十塊錢」！

這時，在場的人全部盯住這位小男孩，現場一片靜默，沒有人舉手，也沒有人喊價，直到拍賣員唱價三次後，錘案大聲宣布說：「這輛腳踏車由這位總是幫忙開價十塊錢的小男孩獲得！」此話一出，全場掌聲響徹雲霄。

小男孩拿出握在手中，僅有的十塊錢，買了那輛世上最漂亮的腳踏車，他臉上流露出從未見過的燦爛笑容。
.
看完這個故事，大家有什麼樣的啟發呢？

A batch of bicycles were forfeited and after the announcement, it was decided to auction them off . . .
.
At the auction, there was a young boy in his teens. He began the bid with “Ten dollars”, and watched as the bicycle was bought by people for twenty, thirty and forty dollars.
.
During the break on the auction the auctioneer asks the little boy, “Why did you stop at ten dollars?”
The boy said: “Because I have saved my pocket money for a long time and what I have is ten dollars.”
.
The auction started again. The little boy offered the same price for each bike which was then bought at a higher price by others. Slowly, the people gathered began to notice the little boy who always shouted out his bid for ten dollars!
.
Finally, the auction was coming to an end, with only one of the best bikes left – a bike with a shiny body, a variety of gears, two-way handbrakes, a variable-speed display and a nighttime electric light on it. At this moment the auctioneer routinely asked: “Who wants to bid?” At this moment, the young boy who always stood at the top calling out his bid of ten dollar said the same price: “Ten Dollars”!

At this moment, all the people present stared at the little boy. There was silence. Nobody raised his hand or called out after him. After the auctioneer counted three, and as he brought down the hammer, he declared loudly: “The bicycle is sold to the small boy who started all his bids with ten dollars! “Immediately after this remark, everybody applauded.
The boy took the ten dollars that was held tightly in his hand and bought the world’s most beautiful bike, with a brilliant smile on his face.

After reading this story, what kind of inspirations have you gotten?
It is this lovely humanity where everyone stood together, willing to help a little boy fulfill his wish.
And a little boy who “never gave up” and who eventually got help and warmth from everyone.

So remember, when you encounter setbacks, open the doors and windows of life to welcome the sunshine. At the same time, also turn yourself into a warm sun so as to help others in need!

擺脫了肌肉萎縮、失眠的折磨！！！

我叫朱玉葉，來自馬來西亞_妙法禪堂。

由於產後憂鬱、壓力太大，20多年前我就開始失眠，需要借助安眠藥才可以入睡。

4年前有一次暈倒，我被送醫院後檢查發現是肌肉萎縮。開始只是右半身萎縮，一年多前慢慢變成全身，連血管和肺都在萎縮，全身無力。醫生說是壓力造成的，沒有藥物可以治療，只能給我能睡覺和不思考的藥物，讓我的腦袋休息和放鬆。可是我吃了4天后就不敢再吃了，因為擔心傷到大腦。
.
這4年來我定期每星期，要去做6-7小時的全身針灸，那個痛苦只有自己知道。就是這樣，也只是減緩症狀而已，每隔幾天還是會頭暈、呼吸不通暢，和手腳冰冷的情況發生。我為了治病，四處求醫，甚至賣掉了一間屋子，也沒找到有效的方法。我看到同樣患有肌肉萎縮的病友，已經有3位離世了，有的哪怕賣掉全部家當來治病，也挽救不回來生命。我害怕極了，每天壓力更大了，病也持續惡化，我的人生看不到任何的希望。

2016年12月，通過妹妹的介紹，我接觸到菩提禪修，也聽了許多師兄、師姐們各種神奇的體驗。我死馬當活馬醫，開始每天做1小時的大禮拜，做了大概1個多月後，我感覺全身開始溫暖起來了，手腳沒有那麼冰冷、身體還可以出汗，也稍微有力了。
.
接下來，我更報名，參加了2017年3月份的健身班。課程的第1天，我很擔心是否能堅持修練，因為我站不到10分鐘，或坐20分鐘左右就覺得無法支撐，身體非常吃力。我向金菩提宗師祈請，向藥師佛陀祈請，希望他可以護佑我，讓我可以支撐久一些。沒想到奇跡真的發生了！

接下來修練「大光明」時我竟然可以站半小時了，第2天，我可以站一小時修「大光明」，第5天可以站一個半小時了！而且每一次修練完，我都會滿身出汗。我的脊椎慢慢地變得比較有力了，剛開始上課，我坐1小時就撐不下去，現在我非常驚訝自己，竟然可以坐2小時了。

禪修後，我再沒有去針灸，沒有再暈倒過，呼吸也比較順暢了，睡眠恢復了正常。腿部的肌肉更慢慢地長出來了，走路有力了。
.
現在的我很開心，沒想到短短5個月的時間，就收到這麼好的效果！我不再恐懼，心中充滿信心和希望，相信菩提禪修一定會讓我越來越好！

My name is Yuye Zhu and I practice at JB FineDharma Bodhi Meditation Centre in Malaysia. Due to postnatal depression and severe stress, I started to suffer from insomnia 20 years ago, and had to rely on sleeping pills.
.
On one occasion four years ago, I lost consciousness and was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the hospital. At the beginning, only my right side of the body was affected. A year ago, it spread to my whole body, to the extent that my blood vessels and lungs were also contracting, causing weakness in my body. My doctor told me this illness was caused by my own stress, and it could not be cured with medication. I was merely prescribed with medicine to enable me to sleep and to relax my brain. I stopped taking the medicine after four days for fear of damage to my brain.
.
In the last 4 years, I attended acupuncture treatment every week, with each session lasting 6 to 7 hours. I went through this indescribable pain just to slow down the illness. I would still be dizzy, had difficulty breathing, with cold hands and feet every few days. To seek effective cure to my disease, I went looking for good doctors while selling away my house to fund the expenditure. Yet, I was still unable to find an effective cure. I witnessed the passing of three fellow patients who suffered from the same disease. Some of them had emptied their lifelong possessions to save their lives. I was terrified which escalated my stress level. My illness deteriorated by the day, I was losing all hopes in life.

In December 2016, I got in touch with Bodhi Meditation through my sister. I listened to many miraculous testimonials from those who practiced at Bodhi. As if grasping at straws, I started with one-hour prostration practice everyday. After about one month of practice, I began to feel warmth in my body and my cold hands and feet became less severe. I was able to perspire and I felt stronger.

I subsequently registered myself for the March 2017 Health and Happiness Retreat. On the first day, I was doubtful of my ability to complete the course as I felt difficulty to continue after standing for 10 minutes or sitting down for 20 minutes. I felt extreme weakness in my body. I prayed to Grandmaster JinBodhi and the Medicine Buddha for their blessings and guidance to enable me to persevere in my practice. I was surprised at the miracles that took place.

In my ensuing practice of “Meditation of Greater Illumination”, I was unbelievably able to stand to meditate for half an hour. On the second day, I stood for an hour to practice the MGI. By the fifth day, I could practice 1.5 hours in standing position! My whole body would perspire after each practice. My spine gradually strengthened and I was surprised that I was eventually able to sit on a cushion for 2 hours. I only could sit less than an hour before.

I stopped going for acupuncture after practicing meditation. I do not lose consciousness any more, and my breathing is now at ease. I have regular sleep and my leg muscles started to grow again and I can walk with more confidence.
.
Today, I am a very happy person. I never imagined that I received such good results in a short span of5 months! I am no more fearful for my life. Instead, I am now full of confidence and hope. I have faith in Bodhi Meditation, I will get better and better by the day!
