修行的選擇,我提議「動靜結合」。
早晨儘量以動為主、晚上以靜為主。

動的修練方法,例如:

第一,做「大禮拜」。
有助於我們開發智慧、促進新陳代謝和瘦身減肥,甚至對婦科疾病,消化和心腦血管等相關問題,都有特別大的幫助。尤其是老人和孩子特別適合。孩子要想聰明智慧,考試更順利,可以修練大禮拜。那麼做多長時間會有效果呢?每天最少二十分鐘。

第二,走「八卦內功」。
通過這種訓練,讓我們自體的機能、熱能、能量,產生出來、調整、再加運用,對我們能量匱乏相關的疾病,幾乎都有效果。那麼做多長時間會有效果呢?每天堅持三十分鐘。
.
那麼到了晚上,就以靜的為好。
選擇做「大光明、念佛、清淨觀想法」,以不吵嚷到他人為考量。
.
這些方法,需要動靜結合著修,先持續一段時間,通常3個月左右,效果就很明顯了。
之後,根據自己的感受可以再換其它修練方法。

Bodhi Meditation offers a few meditation methods which cater for people with different health conditions and each meditation method has its own health benefit and effect.

Personally, I would suggest a meditation schedule that combines a method with more physical movement and one that is quieter.

In the morning, choose a meditation method that requires more physical movement and at night, choose a quieter method.

Examples of meditation methods that requires more strenuous movements are:

1) Full Prostration
Full Prostration is beneficial for developing our wisdom, increasing our body metabolism and is a great way to lose weight! It also helps to alleviate gynecological illnesses and cardiovascular problems, as well as improving the digestive system. Prostration is an ideal meditation practice for the elderly and young children. Intelligent children will perform better in school. Hence, children are strongly encouraged to practice prostration. So, how long do we need to practice? At least 20 minutes a day.

2) Energy Bagua
Energy Bagua improves our body functions, generates heat and adjusts our bodily energy. With sufficient energy, illnesses that arise because of energy deficiency will be alleviated. For Energy Bagua, we have to practice at least 30 minutes a day.

At night, it is advisable to practice a meditation method that is quieter. An ideal choice would be to practice the Meditation of Greater Illumination, Chanting or the Meditation of Purity which would not disturb others.

Ideally, we should choose a meditation schedule comprising of one technique that requires physical movement and another that does not. The effect will become more obvious when we persevere in our practice for around 3 months.

After that, we can customize our own meditation practice according to the needs of our body.

2019年2月23日,筹备数月的“第四届慈善晚宴”在大家的掌声、欢笑、赞叹中缓缓落下帷幕!您也在场一起见证了吗?!

这是感动的一晚、欢乐的一晚、难忘的一晚!

聚一万五千人之善心、筹293万令吉善款、1300多人出席见证,是社会正能量的彰显!感恩所有的发心人!

百多位义工现场服务、接待引领、笑容暖人心!感恩所有幕前幕后的付出!

大学生、小学生、老人们,一起欢聚一堂,参与表演、分享感言、参与服务,今晚我们的心紧紧相连!

演唱、舞蹈、鼓艺表演,每一个节目都精彩绝伦!

这一切的一切,皆源自金菩提宗師的慈悲心愿,在马来西亚成立慈善基金,关爱莘莘学子及迟暮老者,凝聚众人爱心、让正能量延续!

[A Night With Gratitude, Witnessing The Power of Compassion Together]

Yesterday, The 4th Charity Dinner drew to an end with the laughter and applause of the guests. Were you there with us yesterday?

It was a night filled with moving and joyous moments, definitely a night to be remembered!

With over 15,000 of people donated, we successfully raised RM 2.93 millions! Moreover, under the witnesses of over 1300 guests, it’s a positive reflection of the community. We sincerely thank all the donors and volunteers for the achievement!

Hundreds over of volunteers provided service at the scene, their warm genuine smiles touched the heart of the guests. Thanks all the volunteers who worked hard for the event, be it behind the scenes or frontline!

Students from different universities and schools were happily took part in different performances to express their gratitude, most of them even volunteered for the event! Tonight, our hearts linked with one another, to move forward hand in hand!

Not to mention, the singing, dancing and drum performances were just fantastic!

It’s all because of the compassionate wish of Grandmaster JinBodhi, to establish Bodhi Meditation Malaysia Charity Fund, to offer care to the underprivileged students and the lone elderly without kin; it’s a cohesion of love from the community, to spread th positive energy to the world!rnrn種下一顆慈善的種子

───究竟大象是什麼模樣呢?

古人有個成語,叫「盲人摸象」。
第一個盲人說:「大象像一根大水管。」因為他摸到了象鼻子;
第二個說:「不是,大象是個大柱子。」因為他摸到象腿;
第三個摸到耳朵說:「大象長得像扇子。」
第四個摸到尾巴說:「大象其實是一條小草繩。」

其實,這些都不是大象的真實面貌。
.
當我們的精神境界不夠寬廣,我們對外在世界的認識和評論,就可能會有偏差,有了偏差之後,自己的判斷和情緒,也會產生錯誤。

那麼要如何避免這樣的錯誤偏差呢?
又如何正確的認識自己呢?

【The Benefits Of Meditation – Part 2】 – What does an elephant look like?

There is a well-known parable about four blind men and an elephant.
The first blind man who touched the elephant’s trunk said: “An elephant is like a big water hose.”
“No, no,” said the second blind man who touched the elephant’s leg. “An elephant is like a pillar.”
The third blind man who touched the ear said: “It is like a fan.”
The fourth blind man who touched the tail said: “The elephant is like a rope.”

In reality, none of these is an accurate description of an elephant.

When our state of mind is not expansive enough, our understanding of the world will be biased. When that happens, our judgement and emotional reactions to the events around us will be skewed.

So how can we prevent such distortions from happening?
How do we get to know ourselves?
The answer is in meditation!
