什麼是法喜？

孔夫子說：「學而時習之，不亦悅乎。」是法喜嗎？！
孔夫子說：「有朋自遠方來，不亦樂乎。」是法喜嗎？！
或者是「行菩薩道，給予眾生真實利益，並且樂此不疲。」是法喜嗎？！
那麼，究竟什麼才是真正的「法喜」？

其實，「法喜」是一種由內心生發出來的喜悅，
是幫人後內心所獲得的歡喜！
是來自於佛「慈悲能量」的加持！
是讓佛歡喜，也讓自己歡喜！
是我歡喜了，佛也歡喜，所以得到了「法喜」！

今天，讓我們一起來與佛菩薩相感應，
一起收穫「佛」所賜給我們的，最吉祥、最美妙的能量。

What is Dharma Bliss?

According to Confucius: 「One will experience joy when one applies one’s theoretical knowledge into practice.」 Is this dharma bliss?!

Another popular saying by Confucius: 「One feels happy when one’s friend comes from afar for a visit.」 Is this dharma bliss?!

Or 「the pleasure and happiness one experiences from leading a Bodhisattva way of life to help and benefit sentient beings.」 Is this dharma bliss?

So, what exactly is dharma bliss?

In reality, dharma bliss is the joy that comes naturally from our heart when we helped others!
It’s the compassionate energy blessing from Buddha!
Dharma joy brings happiness to us and Buddha!
Because when we and Buddha feel happy, we gain dharma joy!

Today, let us connect with Buddha and Bodhisattvas to receive the most splendid and auspicious energy bestowed!

How can we transform our destiny and attain good fortune in the new year?

New Year brings new hope. Everybody hopes to be blessed with good fortune and have a smooth-sailing year ahead. Many friends asked me this question: “How do I transform my destiny?”

Let me explain: “Whenever we fall sick, we know that we will get well as long as we take our medicine. Unfortunately, there isn’t such a singular method to transform our destiny. It is not as simple. Instead, it requires a more comprehensive methodology which consists of a few steps.

Firstly, during this spring festival, show gratitude for what you have been blessed with in the previous year. Be thankful for the protection, care and help that you have received from the Gods you believe in, from your ancestors, Heaven and Earth, your friends and your relatives. This is one of the point to take note of and there are many other important points which I would proceed to share with you…

灶神賜「福」賜「吉祥」

民以食為天「灶神」是家家戶戶的守護神 。
傳說，灶神在春節前會返回天庭向上天述職，報告他所掌管一家的善惡，年後再返回人間贈與天庭所給予的福氣。

也許，有很多人會問，為什麼禮敬「灶神」能得到福氣和財運？
.
因為，灶神屬於家神之一，我們常聽到的稱號是「灶君、司命真君、九天東廚煙主、護宅天尊或是灶王爺」。然而「灶神」的工作不僅僅只是記錄一家的善惡，實際上「灶神」還有一個很重要的任務，就是祂還掌管著一家的福祿，包含人們的生活飲食，幫助人們於生活上的種種便利，更能代替一家的榮耀旗幟，去向天庭請求、賜福給這戶人家更多的吉祥、福利。

所以，在春節期間，人們只要虔誠的念佛「祈福」，神佛就會賜予我們福氣。也就是說人們只要多行善事，就能得到神的祝福和幫助。

Kitchen God sends Fortune and Good Luck

Just as food is the primary need of the common people, Kitchen God is the resident Deity of every household.
Legend has it that during the Spring Festival, Kitchen God will return to the Heavens to report on the merits and misdeeds of the household under his charge. With the turn of the New Year, he will return to Earth and shower upon that household the blessings bestowed by the Heavens.

Some amongst us may not fully comprehend why our reverence to Kitchen God will bring us good fortune and wealth.

This is because Kitchen God is one of many house Deities. He goes by many titles, reflecting his many roles in our household. He holds the key to your family’s well-being, ranging from your basic needs of food to your trouble-free daily existence. With his request to the Heavens, your household can be bestowed with a multitude of good luck and fortune.

That is why when you chant sincerely to Buddha during the Spring Festival, you will be bless with good fortune. Likewise, the Deities shall reward your acts of kindness with blessings.

新春_回家過年啦~

對中國人來說，過年就是回家！因為..
家.是兒時幸福的港灣！
家.是餐餐好吃的菜餚！
家.是讓人放鬆的休閒會館！
家.是生命中最溫暖的懷抱！
家.是每個人內心深處，最遺忘不了的地方！

因為，那裡有「愛」的滋潤、澆灌著我們成長與茁壯！！
是「家」给了我們希望與夢想，他给了我們一雙自由飛翔的翅膀。

華人的情感表達，向來含蓄而内斂，無論子女在外做什麼，父母都會默默支持，只願兒女們事業有成，順利、健康、平安的，即便是一年見不到一面，偶兒聽見孩子的聲音，就會開心個好幾天。

所以，無論你的夢想是什麼？各自飛翔到了何方？
要記得，一生的愛唯有「家」，「家」才是我們幸福的港灣。

Spring Festival – It is time to go home for Chinese New Year celebration~

Home is our blissful and happy haven!
Home is a place for mum’s delicious and tasty cooking!
Home is a place of leisure to unwind and rest
Home provides us with warm embrace!
Home holds an unforgettable place in our hearts!

Home is the source of nourishing love, it waters our growth so that we flourish and become sturdy and strong!!
Home is the source of our hopes and dreams, it nurtures and provides us with a pair of soaring wings.

The Chinese has always been more subtle and restraint when it comes to expressing love, affection, care and concern for each other. Parents would quietly support their children in all their endeavors.I Their only wish is for their children to lead a smooth, healthy and safe life and attain career success. Even if they did not see their children for the whole year, they feel happy and contented just by listening to their children’s voice and this happiness lasts for days.

Hence, regardless of your dream, where will you go?
Always remember, our life’s primary love can be found only in our home, home is our happy haven.

為什麼有的人天生好命，富貴吉祥，想擁有的，通過一點努力就能夠得到。有的人就算拼命努力，就是得不到自己想要的呢？這就是命運！

要想改變命運，就要多做功德、多做善事、多做佈施。如果我們多佈施，自然就會獲得好運氣、好命相。苦命人會變成好命人。一個命相不好的人，通過做功德，都能轉變自己的面相、手相成為好的。

所以，多做功德不僅能遇難呈祥，還能獲得事業所需的智慧和能力。

Being generous leads to a prosperous life

Why are some people born prosperous and auspicious and lead a smooth life? Why do some people succeed in life easily with minimum effort while others fail to get what they want though they try very hard? This is because of life destiny!

If you want to change your life destiny, you need to accumulate more positive karmic merits through performing charity work and giving generously. If we are generous in giving, good fortune and destiny will come to us naturally. People who are destined for a hard life will find their life transformed for the better through accumulating positive merits.
.
Hence accumulating positive merits can help us avert calamities and transform our life to an auspicious and blessed one and assist us in gaining wisdom and capability, which is essential for achieving career success.

People who always give generously to help the poor will gain blessings from Buddha and Bodhisattvas and those that frequently make offerings to Buddha, Bodhisattvas and great enlightened cultivators will accumulate karmic merits, eradicate past accumulated karmic debts and even attain success in life.

試管嬰兒不是科學家發明的？！

前兩天，一位網友給我留言：
「師父，我認為試管嬰兒不是科學家發明的！」
.
我說：「這是哪跟哪兒啊？！」
.
她說：「真的，說來話長。我是生物學博士的太太！我們結婚快20年了，一直都沒有孩子。做了幾年的試管嬰兒也一樣不成功。
.
一個月前，我去參加『念佛班』記得您說過，只要誠心跟菩薩祈請，就會滿願。我想到自己這麼多年都沒有孩子，就禁不住流淚，心裡默默跟觀世音菩薩說：『菩薩啊，因為懷不上孩子，公公、婆婆、先生都急壞了，先生又是獨子；試管嬰兒我也試了這麼幾年，就是盼不來好消息，您就幫幫我吧，求求您了。。。』
.
就這麼想著想著，接下來念佛的時候，我就感覺到非常明顯的一股暖流，好像從菩薩的淨瓶裡流出來，一直灌注到我的身體裡面，很溫暖；又好像從宇宙的原點，將生命能量都流過來了一般，好吉祥的感受啊。隱約裡，我好像看見菩薩的微笑，我告訴自己：『這是菩薩的試管。』
.
果不其然，過了兩星期，我就發現自己懷孕了！我告訴先生這個故事，很少拜佛的他也激動地不停點給菩薩叩頭！您說，這孩子不就是菩薩的試管給的嗎？
.
我聽了，也噗哧的樂了，恭喜她的悟性。
念著菩薩的人就是有福啊！
祝福大家有願皆成，所求皆圓、吉祥、健康、幸福！

Test tube babies are not invented by scientists? !
.
Two days ago, a net friend left me a message:
“Master, I feel that test-tube babies are not invented by scientists!”
.
I replied, “What do you mean?!”
.
She said: “Really, it’s a long story. I am the wife of a biology professor! Though we have been married for 20 years, we have no children. We tried test tube babies for a few years but was unsuccessful.
.
A month ago, I participated in Bodhi’s chanting retreat. I remembered you said: as long as we are sincere in seeking Buddha and Bodhisattva’s help, they will fulfill our wish. Just the thought of being childless despite so many years of marriage is enough to send tears flowing down my cheeks. I told Guanyin Bodhisattva silently in my heart: “Guanyin Bodhisattva, my parents-in-law and husband are very worried because I cannot conceive. To aggravate matters, my husband is the only child in his family; I have undergone a few years of test tube baby procedures but to no avail. I beg you to help me….”
.
I repeated this request in my heart over and over again. When I chanted during the retreat, I could feel warmth in my body, as if the warmth had flowed from Guanyin Bodhisattva’s vase into my body or that an energy of life had just entered my body from the origin of the universe. Suddenly, I felt very auspicious. I seemed to see Guanyin Bodhisattva smiling at me. At that moment, I tell myself: “This test tube baby is bestowed by Guanyin Bodhisattva.”
.
As expected, I discovered I was pregnant two weeks later! When I told my husband about what I had experienced during my chanting class, he was so touched that he kept thanking and bowing to Guanyin Bodhisattva though he is one who seldom worships Buddha! Master, isn’t this test tube baby a gift from Bodhisattva?
.
When I hear about her story, I rejoice in her happiness and congratulate her on her wisdom.
One who constantly thinks of Buddha and Bodhisattvas is a blessed person!
May all your prayers be answered, be blessed with auspiciousness, good health and happiness!

Ways to eradicate calamities, neutralize adversities, and secure auspiciousness.

2018 Lunar New Year is approaching and the transition represents an excellent opportunity to turn around, or change one’s fortune as well as neutralize adversities or eradicate calamities. When we enter the New Year with a good head start, we will be safe and auspicious for the whole year. Here are some pointers I would like to share on “securing good luck; turning around the fortune” so that you can capitalize on and enjoy an auspicious year – simple and with very remarkable effects – let’s all try it!

Bodhi Meditation has three tips for attracting good fortune …
.
First, offering Lights and venerate the Buddha: Offering lights before the Buddha illuminates our path to a good future!
「Light」is symbolic of brilliance and wisdom. When we offer lights to Buddha, we light up Buddha’s countenance and body and this will in turn brighten our body and mind.
Come with family and friends to Bodhi Meditation Centers, pay respects, prostrate, and offer a light to the Buddha. As you offer illumination before the eyes of the Buddha, you also brighten your future, so let’s sincerely offer our prayers together with our loved ones for blessings.
.
Secondly, perform more meritorious deeds: doing more good deeds and accumulating merits bring good luck and bountiful harvests!
You are welcome to volunteer in Bodhi Meditation activities or help the less fortunate whenever you can. The fastest way for us to quickly eradicate and overcome conflict or clashes related to our year of birth and life’s adversities and negative magnetic field is through performing meritorious deeds and accumulating merits.

Thirdly, wear specially blessed precious items from great enlightened cultivators: be in the aura of auspiciousness and protection!
During this Lunar New Year period, we have also prepared some specially blessed auspicious items.
