Have you heard the bodhisattva’s call?

Since the release of The Call CD a week ago on February 10, I received a lot of sharing from our Internet friends. Some are touched spiritually, and some benefited physically, such as:

Internet sharing #1
When I started to chant with a sincere, respectful and grateful heart, a flow of heat went through my body. After listening to The Call, I felt total comfort, ease and joy all over me. This was exactly how I felt when I chanted with The Call. It was so amazingly powerful! (The benefit to the body and the mind.)

I couldn’t hold back my tears when listening to The Call…. The feeling was beyond words. It was like reminding me that I should learn to be as compassionate as the bodhisattva and serve the sentient beings. This was the bodhisattva’s calling to awaken the Buddha within. (The determination.)

【菩提養生素食教室】──鳳梨小炒

中秋節剛過,有沒有「每逢佳節胖三斤」? 鳳梨中含有一種叫「鳳梨酵素」的物質,能分解蛋白質,幫助消化,尤其是吃了過多肉食或油膩食物之後,吃些鳳梨可以預防脂肪沉積。今天咱們就來做一道清爽解膩的鳳梨小炒。

材料:鳳梨1個,去皮山藥、胡蘿蔔、杏鮑菇各80克,油、薑、鹽、醬油適量。
.
做法:
1、鳳梨帶皮洗淨,縱向剖開,一分為二。
2、取出鳳梨肉、切成小塊,鳳梨殼保留。
3、山藥、胡蘿蔔、杏鮑菇洗淨,切小塊。
4、油鍋燒熱,爆香薑片,倒入山藥、胡蘿蔔、杏鮑菇,煸炒。
5、倒入醬油,加鹽、加一點兒水,悶幾分鐘。
6、關火,馬上倒入鳳梨,炒勻。
7、用鳳梨殼做容器,將菜品盛在裡面就完成了。

Mid-Autumn Festival is just over. There’s a saying that “Every festival, gain extra pounds”. Have you put on more weight?

Pineapples contain “pineapple enzymes” that break down protein and aids digestion. After eating too much meat or greasy food, eating pineapples can prevent fat deposition. Today, we recommend a refreshing dish of cooked pineapple cubes.

Ingredients :
#1 whole pineapple , #chinese yam 80g peeled,
#carrots 80g,
#king oyster mushrooms 80g (Pleurotus eryngii) #oil, ginger, salt, soy sauce.

Directions:
1 Wash the whole pineapple with skin and cut it into half along the longer side
2 Remove the pineapple flesh, cut them into small cubes; retain the pineapple skin shell
3 Wash the yam, carrots and king oyster mushrooms and diced them into small pieces.
4 Heat up the pan, saute ginger, add the yam, carrots and king oyster mushrooms, and stir fry.
5 Add small amount of soy sauce, salt and a little water. Simmer for a few minutes.
6 Turn off the fire, add the pineapple cubes immediately and stir well.
7, Pour the cooked dish into the pineapple skin shell and it is ready to be served.
