有人問我：「誦念一句佛號有多大的殊勝能量？」
我說：「只要真誠誦念，就能直通大慈大悲觀世音菩薩的微妙本心，功德不可思量，利益不可勝數，能開一切智、能度一切眾、能斷一切苦、能滅一切惡、能除一切病。」

我會這麼說是有原因的，因為我從小就非常病弱，如果沒有得到觀世音菩薩的陪伴、照顧與呵護，我可能就長不大了，所以對我來說這是不可思議的因緣，祂常常示現種種不同形象來幫助我、加持我，引領我修行、賜予我法力，讓我非常感恩佛菩薩的慈悲，是非常特別的經歷。

The Six-Syllable mantra is the personification of all of Buddhas’ and Bodhisattvas’ compassion, wisdom and blessings. As such, it contains colossal amount of energy of the universe.
Someone once asked me: “How much blessed energy is present in the chant of a Buddha’s name”?
I responded: “With sincerity, a single chant will establish a direct connection between you and the infinitely compassionate and merciful Guanyin Bodhisattva. The amount of merit present in the single chant is unimaginable and the benefits to be gained are immeasurable. The power of a single chant can bestow an inconceivable amount of wisdom on a person; it can liberate all sentient beings, stop all suffering, destroy all evil and cure all diseases.”
I know all these because all these really happened to me. I was very sickly from young. If I have not had Guanyin Bodhisattva’s blessings, care and protection then, I will not be here today. I have an incredible bond with her. At my times of need, she will take different forms to help me, bless me, guide me in my practice and even bestow special abilities on me. Hence, I am filled with deep gratitude for the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
I have been working on the recording of the Six-Syllable Mantra for quite a while. Finally, it is complete and the recording will be released today on Cibeiyin. If you have not heard it before, I welcome you to listen to the sample at the site. My wish is for all of you to be blessed with a clear mind, wisdom and inner peace. Frequently chanting this mantra will help you achieve peace, happiness and joy. You would be bathed in bright illumination and be freed of illnesses and troubles.
