Ancient people remarked that “A family’s wealth cannot outlast three generations.” There is a similar saying in the Western world: “If a father is wealthy, his son may be rich, but his grandson will live in poverty.” Different expressions describe the same challenge. How can we make our family more prosperous with long-lasting wealth?

In “Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Blessing Chanting Class” Grandmaster JinBodhi guides us to “chant for others” because the root cause of all problems lies in our hearts. 【小偏方】快速缓解肚子痛

这是位外国朋友传给我的小偏方，欢迎大家试试。

材料：
新鲜薄荷叶 3片
绿柠檬 1片
加减方：根据你的需求，可以放一片姜，或者不放

制作方法：
用一个普通茶杯，开水冲泡，1 -2分钟后可以饮用

效果：缓解肚子痛，经痛 和 呕吐感

[Home Remedy] Quick Relief for Stomach Pain

This is a home remedy that an international friend shared with me. Feel free to try it out!

Ingredients:
– 3 fresh mint leaves
– 1 slice of lime
– Optional: Depending on your needs, you can choose to add a slice of ginger

Instructions:
1. Place the ingredients in a regular teacup.
2. Pour boiling water over them and let it steep for 1-2 minutes before consuming

Effect: Helps relieve stomach pain, menstrual cramps, and nausea.

Some even squander their parents’ fortune and ruin the lives of their family members. Why is that? Do these children truly “come to revenge and collect karmic debts,” as the older generations say? Is it because their fortune clashes with that of their parents or something else?

In this class, Grandmaster JinBodhi will explain the root cause of these problems and lead us to rethink an important question: What should we leave for our children? Is it money, fancy cars or real estate? In fact, it is far better to leave auspicious merit to our future generations than wealth. 羊有跪乳之恩，鸦有反哺之义，动物尚且懂得知恩图报，何况是人呢！试想，我们是否经常对陌生人的恩惠铭记于心，但对父母的恩德却视为理所当然？在这堂课中，金菩提宗师将带领大家一起为母亲念佛，感恩母亲无私的爱和养育之恩，真诚地为母亲送上一份最美的礼物。

Even though love is sweet, it can be conditional. Even though friendship is precious, it may fade with time. Only parental love for one’s children is unconditional, selfless and irreplaceable.

Sheep know to express their gratitude by kneeling to suckle, and crows will feed their aged parents. Even animals know how to repay their parents’ kindness; so should we as human beings! Think about this: Do you often remember the kindness of strangers but take the love from your parents for granted?
In this class, Grandmaster JinBodhi will lead us to chant for our mothers and thank them for their selfless love and devotion, giving them the most beautiful gift of our sincere chanting.
