中國湖北武當山，天地靈秀。早在秦漢時期，武當山就已經有求仙學道之士在此修煉。

武當山的修道文化主要涵蓋道教修煉、武術、醫藥、道教音樂等，主張儒、道、佛三教合一，認為「道」是萬物之本。修道要以修心煉性為首，養生講求天人合一。
.
武當山也孕育出一位傳奇人物張三豐，據說他14歲考取武狀元，18歲當縣令，後辭官修道，武術造詣出神入化，壽命更是長達不可思議的212歲！是不是很奇特呢？

農曆六月十九日，是觀世音菩薩成道日，這天是一個非常吉祥喜慶的日子。觀世音菩薩在這一天修成了菩薩正果，所以我們在這一天誠心禮拜、祈願、誦念，感應會是最強的，效果也是最好的。

佛菩薩和眾生的感應是最為靈驗，因為祂為了救苦救難，所以聆聽眾生的心聲，只要哪裡有苦難祈求，菩薩都會與之相應。當你的心越是虔誠清淨，以誠心供養觀世音菩薩，自然就會得到佛菩薩的加持。

Chant sincerely to connect with Guanyin Bodhisattva
Guanyin Bodhisattva attained enlightenment on the 19th of the 6th Lunar month. As this is an auspicious day, when we prostrate, or chant sincerely to seek blessings, we will be able to connect with Guanyin Bodhisattva and receive strong blessings.
Connections between the Buddha, bodhisattvas and sentient beings are efficacious because of their great vow to relieve sentient beings from distress. When they hear cries of sufferings, they will appear where they are needed. With sincerity and purity of heart, we will receive blessings from the Buddha and bodhisattvas.
Let us chant and prostrate with a sincere heart on Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment day to seek blessings for your loved ones.

想像著夜幕低垂，划著小船來到一片神秘的海域，海水泛著寶藍色的螢光，忽閃忽閃，恍惚間像是闖入了螢火蟲的海洋，又像暢遊在繁星銀河，這就是「螢光海灘」。這片海灘是由海洋裡的發光生物造成的，這些特殊的藻類植物、浮游生物，還有發光水母、磷蝦、海螢等，體內的化學作用能轉化為光能，能讓海水螢光閃閃，是不是很特別呢？

「千處祈求千處應，苦海常作度人舟。」
是人們對觀世音菩薩最深的信仰和依賴，祂就好像我們的母親，是慈悲和溫暖的化身。觀音菩薩在漢傳佛教中，是最廣為大眾認識和愛戴的菩薩。

那為何農曆六月十九日定為觀世音菩薩成道日？
.
傳說中原有一位「妙善公主」，她生下來就與眾不同，特別喜愛研究佛法，她毫不畏懼，打破了當時傳統意識中，女兒身是不能修行的，祂堅持修行、精進不懈，後來於六月十九日證悟成道，現千手千眼觀世音菩薩相，於是後人便把這一天定為「觀世音菩薩成道日」。
.
再過幾天，7月31日就是觀世音菩薩成道的吉祥節日。
這一天，全球世界各地都燃起了一柱清香，口誦觀世音菩薩聖號，慶祝、並且祝禱這一個吉祥和溫暖的日子，祈望能將這份吉祥也能送給最愛的家人，願最愛的人都能吉祥、幸福！

Celebrate Guanyin Bodhisattva Commemoration Day – The most auspicious and heart-warming day!
Why is the 19th day of the 6th lunar month Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day?
According to legends, there once lived a princess named Princess Miao Shan. Since birth Princess Miao Shan was very different from the rest as she was particularly interested in Buddhism and had a fearless nature. She broke traditions by practicing self-cultivation and meditation; something which women during those days weren’t allowed to do so. Through intensive and conscientious practice, she gained enlightenment on the 19th day of the 6th lunar month and took on the form of the Thousand-arms and eyes Guanyin Bodhisattva. Hence, that particular day has since been marked as the Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day.
Come 31 July 2018, it would be the auspicious Guanyin Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment Day. On that particular day, people around the world will light incense, chant the Guanyin mantra to celebrate and rejoice in this auspicious and heart-warming day; in the hope of sending the well wishes to their beloved family members and loved ones so that they will be auspicious and enjoy good fortune.
