「別鬧了,伍子胥正值壯年,這老頭兒怎麼可能是他呢?趕快讓他離開,別讓他耽誤了我們!」士兵乙揮手叫伍子胥趕快出關。
伍子胥假裝誠惶誠恐地說:「謝謝大人!謝謝大人!」
盡顯老態的伍子胥因此平安地通過了關口,躲避了追殺他的人。

While at the gate, a soldier called out to him, “Hold there! You look like Wu Zixu! Come here!”
“You must be kidding! Wu Zixu is at his prime. How could this old man be him? Let him leave quickly to avoid delaying our work!” yelled another soldier and signaled him to cross the gate quickly.
Wu Zixu pretended to be terrified and said, “Thank you Sir! Thank you Sir!”
As a result, old Wu Zixu passed the gate safely and dodged from those who were after him.
