心意無碍，得大自在。

傍晚，天色漸漸黑了，有個托缽的和尚，準備到村莊中尋找休憩的地方。他彎進了一條小巷，突然看見前方有一團暈黃的燈光，在前方閃爍著。

村民說：「那個瞎子又提著燈籠來了。」
「瞎子提燈籠？」和尚楞了
.
和尚百思不得其解：「
雙目失明的盲人，沒有白天和黑夜！他看不到高山流水，也看不到花花綠綠的美麗世界。他甚至不知道陽光是什麼樣子，那他挑一盞燈豈不是多此一舉嗎？」
.
暈黃的的燈光漸漸從深巷移到了和尚的鞋上。

和尚忍不住開口問：「在下愚昧，聽說您是位盲者，不知您挑著燈籠的用意為何呢？」
.
盲人說：「因為，我聽說在沒有燈光的夜晚裡，所有的人都和我一樣什麼也看不見，所以我點燃了一盞燈，幫大家照照路。雖然我什麼也看不見， 但我挑了這盞燈，既能為別人照亮路，也讓別人看到我，就不會衝撞到我了。」

和尚聽了，頓有所悟：
「我天涯海角苦苦尋找著佛，希望找到解脫的方法，原來只要點燃心中這盞明燈，我就能得自在解脫啊！」

其實，明燈就在自己心中。照亮別人的同時也照亮了自己，自然所有障礙就沒有了。」

Have no obstructions in mind to enjoy the real freedom.
One evening, when the sky was gradually turning dark, a monk who was asking for alms started to look for a place to rest for the night. When he turned into an alley, he saw a dimmed yellow light flickering ahead.
The villagers said: “The blind man is here again with his lighted lantern.”
“A blind carrying a lantern?” The monk was taken aback.
The monk felt very puzzled: “Darkness or brightness has no significance to a blind man! He cannot see mountains, scenic waters and appreciate the dazzling colors of our beautiful world. In fact, he does not even know what sunlight looks like. Then, why bother to carry a lantern?”
The dimming yellow light gradually shifted from the inner alley to the monk’s shoes.
The monk could not help but asked the blind man: “Pardon me for my ignorance, as I heard that you are blind, why do you bother to carry a lantern?”
The blind man replied: “Because I heard that in the night without lights, everyone cannot see, which is exactly what I am experiencing. Hence, I carry a lantern to illuminate the path for others as well as for them to see me so that they do not knock onto me.”
When the monk heard this, revelation struck him: “ I have been searching for Buddha all my life so as to find the way to liberation. Now I realized as long as I ignite the light in my heart, I can enjoy real freedom!”
In reality, there is light in everyone’s heart. When we illuminate others, we are also illuminating ourselves, and naturally all our obstacles will disappear.”
Let us ignite the light of our life!
