魔鬼城
魔鬼城，又稱烏爾禾風城，位於中國新疆維吾爾自治區的烏爾禾礦區，為典型的雅丹地貌，是在乾旱、大風環境下形成的一種風蝕地貌類型。
它地處風口，四季多風，每當大風到來，黃沙遮天，大風在這裡激蕩迴旋、淒厲呼嘯，如同鬼哭狼嚎，令人毛骨悚然，「魔鬼城」因此而得名。它呈西北、東西走向，長寬約在5公里以上、方圓約10平方公里，海拔350米左右。
遠眺此風城，就像中世紀歐洲的一座大城堡。大大小小的城堡林立，高高低低參差錯落。千百萬年來，由於風雨剝蝕，地面形成深淺不一的溝壑，裸露的石層被狂風雕琢得奇形怪狀：有的呲牙咧嘴，狀如怪獸；有的垛蝶分明，形似古堡；有的似亭臺樓閣，簷頂宛然；有的像宏偉宮殿，傲然挺立，頗有幾許神秘色彩。千姿百態的魔鬼城，讓人不得不驚歎於大自然的鬼斧神工！

Ghost City
Ghost City, also known as Wind City of Urho district, is located at an autonomous region in Xinjiang Uygur. It is a typical Yardang landform caused by drought and windy environment.
It is situated near a wind vent, with strong wind all year round. Whenever there is strong wind, the entire area will be shrouded in yellow sand. Strong wind circulated within, giving rise to shrill whistling sounds, similar to ghosts’ howls which makes one’s hair stands. That is how the name of Ghost City comes about. It assumes the north-west direction, has an east west trend and extends beyond 5 Kilometers with a circumference of 10 Kilometers and an altitude of approximately 350 meters.
Gazing at this wind city from afar, it resembles a majestic European medieval castle. Big, small, tall and low castles criss-crossed. For millions of years, wind and rain have eroded the land to form an uneven ravine. Strong wind has carved the bare layers of stone into strange shapes: some looked like bared teeth, resembling monsters; others are distinct in its stacked butterfly shapes, just like a castle; some look like pavilions or even tall standing magnificent palaces, with traces of mystery embedded. These different facades of Ghost City unwittingly make one marvel at the extraordinary workmanship of nature!
