【五月】人生有成就，只因有夢想。

人生需要有夢想，有夢想就有動力。無論你多麼懦弱、處境有多困難，會讓你真正感到痛苦的是——你連夢想都沒有，那你的人生就真正失敗了。我曾經看過一個真實的故事。
.
美國有一個13歲的小姑娘夢想去歐洲旅遊，但她父母親不是很有錢。老師說：「你自己可以設法存錢啊！」
.
於是，這個小姑娘就去推銷「娃娃餅乾」。一開始她很害怕，畏畏縮縮的。敲別人家門，對方也沒好口氣：「嘿！你的餅乾乾淨嗎？我不買！」哎喲，門一關上，這個女孩就坐在地上哭。
.
第二天拿著餅乾去找老師，老師就安慰她說：「孩子啊，那些都是主派來的考驗你的，你要有信心堅持下去。」
.
小孩子嘛說什麼就信什麼， 她就再次充滿希望地去敲門：「我想推銷我的餅乾，因為我有個夢想請您幫我實現它，八毛錢一盒。」 她把她的夢想告訴別人。有人就說：「我的孩子怎不像你這樣勇敢呢？你叫什麼名字，我要讓我的孩子跟你交朋友、跟你學習。」
.
後來好多人出於各種善良的想法去買她的餅乾，幫她實現夢想。一年之後，她就把所有的費用湊齊了。十四歲就成功地實現了她的夢想！這個夢想很多成年人都做不到，而一個孩子做到了！現在這個孩子已經長大了，在一個很大的投資公司當經理，還有人請她到世界各地講演，分享她的故事。

她能有所成就，是來自於心中所持有的夢想。你的夢想其實有時能戰勝所有的困難，能夠戰勝一切障礙，能戰勝一切人生的阻力，這種能量是來自於你內心最最強大的信心，由信心產生無限的動力！

美好的夢想，會讓你人生變得燦爛輝煌。
你的夢想又是什麼呢？

【觀世音菩薩的大願大行】

3月16日是大慈大悲觀世音菩薩聖誕的日子，這天的磁場非常強大，也非常吉祥，若能在這天恭奉、誦念、發願、禮敬菩薩，就會得到很多意想不到的好處。在這樣的日子，我們去祈請祂是最最重要的。
.
觀世音菩薩發了大誓願，要為眾生救苦救難。如果你有無法解決的難關，就向菩薩祈求吧！無論是你自己的願望，還是親人的願望，都可以借這個吉祥的日子向佛菩薩祈求，只要懷有一顆恭敬的心，都是可以求的。

在祈請菩薩時，要怎麼做才會更靈驗呢？要怎麼做菩薩才會幫助我們達成所願呢？歡迎大伙兒本週六來禪堂共修，聽我說說如何讓祈請更靈驗。並與我在佛前，洗盡塵累，靜心唱誦佛號，共同祈福。祝福大家都能得健康智慧，幸福快樂！.

[ The Aspirations of Avalokitesvara ]

March 16th is the birthday of the revered Avalokitesvara, the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion. This day will be filled with great energy and auspiciousness.
.
Avalokitesvara fulfills earnest requests for, and bestows happiness upon, those who chant and make offerings with sincerity. It is an important day which all are encouraged to venerate.
.
The embodiment of great compassion, Avalokitesvara has vowed to free all sentient beings from sufferings. When faced with difficulty, or when you are saying a prayer for yourself or for others, make a heartfelt call to Avalokitesvara. The Bodhisattva will hear you and reach out to relieve your suffering and grant your wishes.
.
How can we make our prayers heard? What should we do so Avalokitesvara will help us fulfill our wishes?
.
I welcome everyone to practice together at your Bodhi Meditation Center this Saturday. Let me share what we can do to have our prayers answered. Together we shall repent in front of the Buddha, cleanse ourselves of negative energy, calm our hearts, chant, and pray for blessings. I wish everyone good health, wisdom, prosperity, and happiness.
