新年到，貼春聯啦！

春節，貼春聯和門神，都是不可少的重要節俗元素之一。年終歲尾，家裡內外、門戶上下都打掃乾淨之後，在門前貼上保佑全家辟邪除災、平安鎮宅的門神，兩旁再貼上紅豔豔的春聯，紅火又喜氣，馬上就把年節的氣氛妝點起來。

說起春聯，文字都是表達迎祥納福的美好心願，祈求好運來臨。過去老祖宗講究「有神必貼、每門必貼、每物必貼」都是有原因的，屋裡屋外都是喜氣洋洋的紅色，滿屋都是吉祥，人的心情與運勢也像這春聯一般，明亮、喜慶，充滿希望。

貼春聯也有一些注意事項，比如：貼對聯時應將上聯貼在右邊，下聯貼在左邊；時間宜選在上午。把舊的春聯撕下來燒掉，感謝保佑了家宅一年的平安，再把新的春聯工工整整地貼上去。

今年我給大家準備的春聯是單條的春聯，又稱為「春條」，送你滿屋「瑞氣盈門」，祝福大家在新的一年裡：喜事連連、意美心甜、腰細心寬、兜裡有錢、闔家幸福一整年。

Let’s paste the door couplets and welcome the New Year!
When it comes to the Spring Festival, pasting door couplets and Chinese door gods’ images are major elements of the culture. At the end of the year, after we clean the houses inside and out, we paste the door gods’ images on the door to keep the whole family away from bad luck and disasters, and then the lucky bright red couplets to creating a festive atmosphere.
As to the couplets, the words are to express the good wishes to welcome the auspiciousness and blessing. Back in the old days, our ancestors put emphasis on “to paste every gods on every doors and everything” so that the lucky bright red are everywhere in the house. When the house is full of auspiciousness, the mood and destiny of the family become as bright, cheerful and hopeful as the couplets.
Here are some tips for pasting couplets. For instance, the first line of the couplet should be pasted on the right when you face the door, while the one with the ending line is on the left. This activity is better to proceed in the morning. Second, the old couplets of previous year should be torn down and burnt. Be grateful for the blessings and protection we receive for the ending year. Then put up the new couplet neatly for the upcoming New Year.
This year, the “couplet” that I have prepared for you to welcome the Spring Festival is harmonized into a phrase, known as the “spring verse”, which writes “Full House of Auspiciousness”. Finally, my New Year wish for everyone: a series of joyous events, harmonious will and beautiful heart, slender waist yet vast tolerance, abundance of wealth and happiness for the whole year.
