「孩子的未來在於你？」

有個同修給我寫信，說她們夫妻倆都失業了，孩子已16、17歲，很貪玩，讀書分數較差。她為了要讓孩子考上理想大學，每天在佛菩薩像前獻上一柱清香、供兩三顆蘋果，每天堅持的念佛祈福好幾個小時。
.
大概過了三個多月，孩子高考放榜，果真高中榜首了。他給媽媽拿著那個金榜題名的錄取單。哎喲，他媽媽：「哇」一聲就歡喜地哭了出來，因為她生命中的希望啊，終於看到了！她終於等到了這個希望。
.
兒子告訴父母親：「我考試的時候，看著考題怎麼感覺我都會，也不覺得害怕，我考試從來沒這樣輕鬆過，這回應該能考上了。」
.
所以，為了讓你的後代更好，最直接的方法就是在佛前真誠地去祈請、去供奉，為孩子念佛。
.
今天，在吉祥的藥師佛誕日子前後，讓我們一起來《為子女念佛》，也為自己最愛的親人一起念佛祈福吧，共同探討如何讓自己，和子女的人生更精彩、更吉祥。

A fellow practitioner wrote to me that they, husband and wife, were both unemployed. Their child was already 16 or 17 years old but very playful and poor in studies. Hoping that her child would be accepted into an ideal university, she offered incense and apples before Buddha and bodhisattvas on a daily basis and adhered to daily chanting ritual for several hours.
.
When result was released three months later, her son topped his cohort. The mother was happily surprised and burst into tears. She finally saw hope in life.
.
The son told his parents, “I was not nervous during the examinations because I was able to answer all the questions. I have never felt so relaxed before. I think I should be able to gain admission into university.”
.
So, in order for your descendants to have a better future, the most direct method is to chant sincerely and make offerings on their behalf.
.
Since today is near the auspicious birthday of the Medicine Buddha, let us chant for our children as well as for our love ones. Let us also explore how we and our children can lead a more wonderful and auspicious life.

#為父親念佛

「生活中一切的感受，都是因果關係的體現。」

人們的「煩惱」無非就是「疾病」，也就是缺少健康、缺少智慧、金錢。
也有人說：「我請過很多老師，給我補過那麼多功課，怎麼沒考上一流的大學呢？」有很多能考上一流大學的人，卻沒請人補過課。所以，考上一流大學的學生，不一定是一流的人才；一流的人才，不一定進一流的大學。這其中的差異是為什麼呢?
.
我們去研究這個現象的結果，就是「種瓜得瓜，種豆得豆」， 就像秋天的果實，這個果實是來自於你之前播下的種子，所以種子是什麼，就會結出什麼樣的果實，這是農作物生長的普遍規律。
.
這個規律對農作物有效之外，對人們是否同樣有效呢？
對人而言，我們的任何行為，都在種下不同的種子，而這些種子，在經過一定的時間成熟之後，就會令我們感受到相應的果實。而一個好的種子，還需要善能量的澆灌，才會有美麗的果實。

因此，我們在生活中有很多無奈的、解決不了的問題？我們想得到佛的護佑與加持，就要學習「真誠地念佛」，為自己灑下良善的種子，才能結出豐碩的果實。

在我們的生命中，父親對我們有種種的好，歡迎大家週六與我一起來研究「廣植福田」的方法，為身邊最愛的父親「念佛祈福」，祝福大家都能得健康智慧，幸福快樂！.

[ Chant for Our Father ]

Our experiences and feelings in life are reflections of Cause and Effect.

Our vexations are in fact illnesses such as lacking in good health, wisdom or wealth.

Some engaged several tutors who provided them guidance in many areas but were still unable to enter the top university. There were others who study at the top university without external help. Hence, top university’s students may not be the best, while cream of the crop may not be in the finest university. Why is this so?

As the saying goes: “You reap what you sow.” Liken to growing crops, the harvest you receive comes from the seeds you planted. How does this Law of Nature affect us? Take the seeds as our actions. Through time when ripen, they will bring about corresponding results. A good seed requires the watering of compassionate energy to bear beautiful fruit.

There are issues we face which we are helpless with and unable to solve. If we wish to receive the Buddha’s protection and blessings, we have to learn to [ Chant With Sincerity ], a way to plant a seed of compassion to enjoy bountiful gains.

Join me this Saturday as we [ Chant for Our Father ]; an important figure in our life; a way to accumulate merits. May everyone be blessed with good health, wisdom and happiness.
