這是一個真實的故事！

中國春秋戰國時期，有一位叫「甘羅」的小孩子，他爺爺是宰相。甘羅的爺爺受到奸臣迫害，皇帝為了刁難他，出了一個既特別又非常可笑的難題，要甘羅的爺爺找到公雞蛋；如果找不到，就要殺了他。

甘羅的爺爺在家裡非常著急，十二歲的甘羅知道之後就說：「爺爺，這個容易！我代替爺爺您上朝吧。！」
.
早上五更天還不亮，甘羅就等在了朝堂外。
早朝時間到了，皇帝在朝堂外見到這麼個小娃兒要見他，就好奇地應允了。
皇帝說：「小娃兒，你來找我有什麼事啊？」
甘羅：「我叫甘羅，我爺爺是甘老丞相。但是我爺爺病了，所以我來替我爺爺上朝。」

皇帝：「你爺爺生什麼病呢？」
甘羅：「他坐月子呢！」
皇帝一聽樂了：「你爺爺是個男人還會生小孩？」
甘羅：「是啊，男人不能生小孩，同樣的公雞也不能下蛋啊！」
.
因此，機智的甘羅，使甘老丞相躲過了這一難。後來，皇帝就允許十二歲的甘羅進朝幫皇帝料理政務。
.
所以，「知識就是力量」，知識多重要啊！
當你有了知識，加上合理運用的話，那就是智慧、就是能量——有時可以改變人的命運。

During China’s Spring Autumn Warring States period, there was a child, Gan Luo, whose grandfather was the prime minister. Due to evil ploys by court traitors, his grandfather fell out of favor and the emperor gave him a special and ridiculous task – to find eggs laid by a rooster. Failing which, he would be prosecuted.
.
Gan Luo’s grandfather became very anxious and worried. When 12 years old Gan Luo learnt about this, he comforted his grandfather, “Grandpa, this’s easy! I will take your place during the imperial hearing!”
The next morning, Gan Luo was already waiting outside the imperial court before sunrise.
The emperor was curious to have a young child attending his morning court and granted him entry.
The emperor asked: “Young child, you come to me for what matter?”
.
Gan Luo replied, “My name is Gan Luo and my grandfather is senior Prime Minister Gan. I am here to represent my grandfather as he is sick today.”
Emperor asked, “What’s your grandpa’s illness?”
Gan Luo responded, “He’s in confinement!”
The emperor was amused, “Your grandpa is a man; how can he bear a child?”
Gan Luo replied, “Indeed! Man cannot give birth just like rooster cannot lay eggs!”
With Gan Luo’s wit, the senior Prime Minister Gan escaped this difficult task. Subsequently the emperor allowed 12 years old Gan Luo to help in his administration.
Therefore, 「knowledge is power」 and knowledge is so important!
When you have knowledge and is able to apply it rationally, it is wisdom and energy. At times it can also change destiny.

用好它，你將無所不能！

《三國演義》當中，最能打仗的不是張飛，而是諸葛亮。
但我們都知道，諸葛亮手上不拿寶劍，也不是鐵扇，而是拿的羽毛大扇，他靠的是什麼呢？
諸葛亮他上知天文、下通地理。因為他明白，整個人類世界的東西，都具有著能量，如果會用它，天地都能成為他手上最好的兵將。

當我們知識多，如果又會合理運用的話，那就是智慧、就是能量。
.
就有足夠的能量，創造更多的價值，讓自己和家人吃飽飯；更有能量的人，讓一伙人吃飽飯；再大能量的人，讓天下人吃飽飯。
.
能量有多大，就代表著你有多大的智慧。

Harness the energy, you will be omnipotent

In the novel “Romance of Three Kingdoms”, the best General is not Zhang Fei but Zhu Ge Liang.

Why is that so? We are all well aware that Zhu is not armed with a formidable weapon. Instead, he holds only a large feathered fan. How is he able to achieve such greatness?

Zhu is a master of the world’s knowledge, ranging from astrology to geography. He understands that all the world’s subjects are filled with energy. If you can harness this energy, you can manipulate even the sky and the earth to be your warriors.

If we possess vast knowledge and we can apply it appropriately, that is what I call wisdom, an immense source of energy.

With this energy, you can feed and fulfill yourself and your family. Expand this energy further and you will be able to help the people around you, and even the whole world.

This limitless energy will be a reflection of your limitless wisdom.

幾年前，我有一位弟子，是一個餐館老闆，他招廚師，給的錢並不少，但他找了十幾個都沒招上，就給我說，真發愁啊，廚師真不好找！我說：「你就別太挑剔了吧！我知道你做事很細心，你是不是太挑剔了？」
他就給我說了這麼一個故事…

「來個做川菜的，我說你來個白菜燉豆腐。答：『不會，我是做川菜的。』那來個北京菜，擀麵條。答：『麵條是白案（編註：白案，是中國大陸廚藝界的專業術語。指的是做麵食、擀麵條、烙餅、做點心的廚師），我是炒菜的，不會。』我說：我給你錢啊！他答：『我不會』那..你站那兒看都看會了。他說：『我不會就是不會。』。」

明白人來說說看，這是個什麼狀況啊？？

The Virtuous, the Wise and the Capable
A few years ago, a disciple who was a restaurant owner, confided in me, “Master, it is so difficult to recruit chefs!” He was willing to pay a high salary, yet he had difficulties recruiting chefs. Knowing his meticulous personality, I asked him, “Are you being too picky?”

He shared with me his story…

One day, a chef who specialized in Sichuan cuisine, came for the job interview. My disciple asked the chef to prepare a simple dish of steamed Chinese cabbage with bean curd. The Sichuan chef, upon hearing my disciple’s request, immediately replied,“No, I do not know how to cook that. I only prepare Sichuan dishes.”

On another occasion, a chef who specialized in Beijing cuisine came and applied for the same position. My disciple asked the chef to prepare some handmade noodles. The chef answered,“Noodles are the specialty of pastry chefs and I only know how to prepare Beijing cuisine.” (Editor’s note: Pastry chef is a culinary terminology used in Mainland China to describe chef that specializes in handmade noodles, baked pancakes and dim-sum)

My disciple told him, “Not to worry, I am willing to pay you and it is easy to learn.” The chef responded, “I don’t know.” My disciple offered to teach him but the chef simply refused and insisted that he did not know how to do it.

An insightful person will understand the reasons behind.

知識就是能量

知識就等於能量，當你有了知識之後，你的能力就會變得很強大。
有一個叫「甘羅」的孩子，他的爺爺「甘茂」是秦國的宰相，有一天秦王故意為難甘茂，要他在兩天內找到公雞蛋，不然就要治罪於他。甘茂回到家中一直悶悶不樂，左思右想就是想不出個解決辦法。他的孫子，也就是甘羅，當時才12歲，看著祖父坐著發愁，就問：「爺爺，您怎麼眉頭深鎖呢？」甘茂就把今日早朝時，秦王要他找公雞蛋的事娓娓道出。

甘羅聽完，就告訴祖父：「爺爺，我有辦法！明天就讓我替您上朝吧！」
.
第二天，甘羅就進了皇宮拜見秦王。秦王很好奇怎麼會有孩子要來覲見我，就問甘羅：「孩子，你來找我是為了何事？」
.
甘羅：「我叫甘羅，是甘茂的孫子。我爺爺今天不能來，所以我代替他來見您。」
.
秦王：「你爺爺為何不能來？」
.
甘羅：「我爺爺在家坐月子。」
.
秦王聽了可樂了，更好奇的問：「男人怎能生孩子？你爺爺還會坐月子？」
.
甘羅說：「大王啊，您知道男人不能生孩子，那麼公雞也是同樣啊！不信，您問問大家，有誰吃過公雞蛋？公雞能下蛋嗎？」
.
一時，大臣們誰也不敢出聲，甘茂因此躲過一劫。
秦王覺得甘羅不但膽識過人，也特別有智慧，就封他做了官，這也說明了知識與智慧有多麼重要。
.
當我們的知識多了，又能合理運用，那就是智慧、就是能量。一個人會因為他所具備的知識而散發出一種能量，在面對事情時會胸有成竹，有足夠的能量來創造更多的價值。最基本的能讓自己家人吃飽飯；更有能量的人，能讓一伙人吃飽飯；再大能量的人，能讓天下人吃飽飯。能量有多大，就代表著你有多大的智慧。
