【祝福的力量】
祝福的力量，可以有多大呢？
.
在節日前一天，到處都是準備狂歡的人潮，和瑟縮在牆角的阿東形成強烈的對比。
.
失業半年的阿東落魄地蹲坐在街頭，每次面試工作都以失敗告終，還遭受鄰居的指指點點、家人的責備等，心力憔悴之餘，不禁自暴自棄地想，沒有希望活在世界上，不如死了算了。
.
這時候，有個提著一大袋零食的少女走到大叔前面，說：「嘿，大叔，不要愁眉苦臉的，要過年了呢！要不要來點零食呢？」
.
阿東：「不用了……我…我沒有錢……」
.
少女：「哈哈，不用啦！就算只有一個人，也能去看看煙火阿！」
少女把零食塞到阿東的懷裡，揮揮手就去和朋友會合了，走到一半還回頭大聲喊：「失戀不算什麼！振作起來！明年會更好！」
.
原來把我當成失戀的人啦，阿東哭笑不得。
.
「是啊，明年會更好！明天會更好！一切都會更好。」阿東在心底為自己打氣。
.
因為少女的鼓勵，阿東想著：「一個陌生女孩，還有這番樂天豁達的心，我為何要如此狼狽度日呢，更應該積極找工作啊！」
.
於是，阿東振奮起精神，不管遇到任何困難都不氣餒，積極的態度，使他很快就找到願意雇用的店家。
.
少女送的那包餅乾，被阿東細心擺在家裡，每當沮喪時，就會看一看，和自己說：「沒關係，一切都會更好！」
.
也許阿東工作以後會升職，也許會結婚，但若沒有少女的鼓勵，阿東可能放棄了人生，再也沒有任何「可能」的未來。
.
一句祝福，可能就在對方最需要的時候，帶給了別人希望，度過難關。
祝福，像破曉，帶來陽光與希望！
.
祝福的力量，可以有多大呢？
答：「可以改變一個人的命運！」

【The Power of a Blessing】
How powerful can a blessing be?

On the eve of New Year, crowds of people were busy preparing for the festival, unlike Ah Dong who was shivering in the corner.

Ah Dong, who was unemployed for half a year, sat on the street dejectedly. He had been unsuccessful in every job application. He also suffered from his neighbor’s finger pointing and his family often blamed him. He often lost hope and felt like giving up on himself. He thought it would be better to die instead.

At this time, a young girl with a large bag of snacks approached him and said, “Hey uncle, don’t frown, it will be New Year soon! Want some snacks?”
Ah Dong replied, “No ….. I don’t have money…”
The girl remarked “Haha, its alright! Happy New Year to you! Even though you are alone, you can enjoy the fireworks in the sky!”
The girl put the snacks into Ah Dong’s palms, waved goodbye and ran to meet her friends. After a few steps, she paused and shouted: “Don’t be sad after a breakup! Cheer up! Things will get better next year!”

As he did not suffer a breakup, Ah Dong could not help but laughed.

“Yeah, next year would be better! Tomorrow would be better! Everything would get better.” Ah Dong cheered up in his heart.

In the new year, Ah Dong became more proactive in finding jobs. Due to the encouragement of the girl, no matter what difficulty he faced, he did not become discouraged. His positive attitude soon landed him a job at a store.

The biscuits that the girl sent were carefully placed at home by Ah Dong. Whenever he felt depressed, he would take a look and say to himself “It doesn’t matter, everything will be better!”

Perhaps Ah Dong would be promoted at his job; perhaps, he would get married. Without the encouragement of the girl, Ah Dong might have given up on his life as there was no “possible” future.

A blessing to another brings hope and helps to get through difficulties especially when it is most needed.
Blessings, like early dawn, bring sunshine and hope to all of us!

How powerful is a blessing?
Answer: It has the power to transform a person’s destiny!

Let us bless others and in return, bring good luck to ourselves!
