近來,全球多個地區都刷新了高溫記錄,出現極端炎熱的天氣。
長時間暴露在高溫環境下,會使我們的體溫調節失效,體內溫度迅速上升,引發中暑。中暑的症狀包括頭痛、頭暈、心跳加快、皮膚通紅、噁心嘔吐、意識喪失,嚴重則會致命。

如何避免中暑?
1. 補充水分:經常喝水,確保身體得到充足的液體。如果有大量出汗,也需要補充體內的電解質,可以飲用椰子水。
2. 穿寬鬆、輕薄、淺色的衣物,以幫助散熱。
3. 儘量待在屋內或陰涼處,確保家中有良好的通風和適當的降溫方法,如空調和風扇。
4. 避免在高溫時段外出,尤其減少在高溫時段做戶外運動。
5. 塗抹防曬霜:曬傷會影響身體的降溫能力,並且導致脫水。如果必須外出,請戴上寬邊帽、太陽鏡,並在出門30分鐘前,塗抹SPF 15或更高的防曬霜來保護自己,免受陽光傷害。選擇標有 “UVA/UVB保護” 的防曬霜,效果更佳
🚨家長們注意:不要把孩子單獨留在車內。汽車內部溫度可以迅速上升至危險水準,特別容易導致兒童中暑和死亡。

[Effective Remedies for Heatstroke]

Recently, many regions around the world have broken high-temperature records, leading to extreme heatwaves. Prolonged exposure to high temepratures can cause heatstroke, with symptoms like headaches, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, flushed skin, nausea, and loss of consciousness. In severe cases, heatstroke can be deadly.

Avoiding Heatstroke:
1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids. Staying hydrated will help your body sweat and maintain a normal body temperature. If you sweat a lot, replenish with electrolytes. Coconut water is great for this!
2. Wear loosefitting, lightweight, and light-colored clothing, to help to dissipate heat.
3. Stay Cool Indoors: Ensure good ventilation with air-conditioning or fans.
4. Limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day. Try to schedule exercise or physical labour for cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or evening.
5. Protect against sunburn. Sunburn affects your body’s ability to cool itself, so protect yourself outdoors with a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. For the best results, use sunscreen with UVA/UVB protection.
🚨Parents: NEVER leave kids alone in cars. This is a common cause of heat-related deaths in children. When parked in the sun, the temperature in your car can soar, posing a fatal risk.
