如何求子得子？

我們經常會聽到身邊的人有同樣的問題：
「為什麼結婚快5年了，想要個孩子卻一直無法懷孕？」
「我求佛求菩薩讓我順利受孕，為什麼孩子一樣等不來呢？？」
「我們夫妻倆都做了檢查，報告說我倆沒問題，為什麼就是沒有孩子？」。

「不孕症」已經成了現代的文明病，不孕比例年年增高，中西醫學仍然無法根本解決？不孕的成因目前沒有人確切地知道，然而，解鈴還須繫鈴人，我們除了可以通過「佛前點燈」、「念佛」、「懺悔」幾種方法來解決外，明白事情的根本原由才是根本的解決之道，跟大家分享一個故事，期望對有相同苦惱的妳能有所幫助！

明代學者_袁了凡，最初他以為命運是注定的，他曾給一位算命先生推算他終身的吉凶禍福，結果都一一實現了，這讓他對生命毫無期待，消極地過生活。
.
有一次，他遇到了一位德行頗高的禪師告訴他：「命運其實是可以改變的，並且教授方法給他！」他照著去實行，認真的行善積德。袁了凡發願做三千善事求兒子，他花了三年多，才把三千善事給做完，終於求得了孩子，名為天啟。
.
有一次，他還許下了做一萬件善事的大願，要求科舉考試成功。當他一萬件善事還沒達成，科考放榜竟然考中了進士，沒多久更當上縣長。他還在想那一萬件善事不知該如何達成時，就做了一個夢，他看到一個天神對他說：「單憑你當縣長，為人民減稅這件善事，你的一萬件善事已經足夠圓滿了。」

所以，這個故事說明，只要認真斷惡行善，不但能改變一個人的命運，還能夠添福、添壽！原來算命先生算定，袁了凡的壽命注定只活到53歲那年，就應該壽終正寢，但他卻活到了74歲，還獲得了子嗣。
.
其實，命運就掌握在自己的手上。

How to be granted the wish of having a child?

We often hear people around us asking questions like the following:
– “We have been married for five years. How is it that we have not been able to conceive?”
– “I have been praying to the Bodhisattvas but why is it I don’t have a child yet?”
– “The results of both our body check-up show that everything is normal. Why is it that we still can’t have a child yet?”

Infertility rates have been on the rise in our current day and age. Both Eastern and Western medical practices have not been able to find a solution to address infertility. The real cause of infertility is still unknown. However, there are ways like offering lights, chanting, and repentance to help us address the root cause of this issue. Here is a story that I would like to share with you and hopefully it will help those of you who are facing the same issue:

During the Ming dynasty, there was a scholar named Yuan Liao Fan who believed that everything in life was fated, after having his fortune told and seeing all the predictions come true. As a result, he didn’t hold any expectations and lived a despondent life.

One day, he met a renowned Master who told him that “One can actually change your life’s destiny.” The Master also taught him ways on how to change his life’s destiny. Yuan Liao Fan followed what the Master taught him about carrying out charitable deeds diligently. He made the vow of completing 3,000 charitable deeds and asked to be granted a son. It took him more than three years but finally his wish of having a son was granted. He named his son Tian Qi.

There was also once he asked to be successful in the imperial examinations and in return he vowed to carry out 10,000 charitable deeds. In fact, even before he completed the 10,000 charitable deeds, he was made the County Magistrate. Just when he was pondering how he could go about completing his vow, he dreamt of a heavenly deity who told him, “Just by reducing taxes for the people in your capacity as the County Magistrate, you would have completed the 10,000 charitable deeds.”

This story tells us that you can change your life’s destiny, get more blessings and be granted longevity simply by stop doing bad and keep doing good deeds. The fortune teller had earlier predicted Yuan Liao Fan would only live till 53 years of age but in the end, he lived till 74 years old and even had children to carry his family line.

Therefore, life’s destiny actually rests in our own hands.

For young couples and those hoping to start a family, don’t you feel more confident now that you have heard this story? Through light offerings, praying to Guan Yin Bodhisattva and doing charitable deeds to accumulate merits, your wish of having a child will be granted.

It was written in the Lotus Sutra – “By prostrating and making offerings to Guan Yin Bodhisattva, any lady who wish for a male partner will be granted the wish of having a partner who is virtuous and wise. Likewise, any gentleman who wish for a female partner will be granted one who is decent looking, with good values and respected by all.”

Lastly, may all your wishes come true.
