2月6日凌晨，土耳其南部发生7.8级地震，震度威力如同251颗原子弹，是百年不遇的强烈地震。上百栋楼房倒塌，目前已造成土耳其和叙利亚超过1800人死亡，数千人受伤（数字在持续增加）。

In the early hours of February 6th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Turkey. The earthquake was as powerful as 251 atomic bombs, the most intense earthquake in the region in a hundred years. Countless buildings have collapsed, and over 1800 people have died in Turkey and Syria, with tens of thousands more injured (numbers are still increasing).
Rescue teams are racing against time and harsh winter conditions to search for survivors. The US Geological Survey estimates that the death toll from this earthquake could reach 10,000 people.
